What I liked: Toshi's testimony about how Stan SHOULD be put in jail, but nobody understanding him and thinking he was saying good things, Roger initiating that cat fight between Francine and Haley, Stan trying to make men out of Steve and his friends, amongst other things.

This was good. I liked Francine feeling threatened by Haley, and the whole main plot, whilst not the funniest thing in the episode, was nicely done. Not one of my favorite episodes but it was done in a pretty nice way, and so my final grade is a B- or so, I think is fair.moreless
  • A mad cow instalment!

Stan trying to teach Steve to become a man evolving in to a mad cow epidemic and Roger playing mother and daughter's insecurities to create a cat fight in order to win a t-shirt are two plots that can only be done on American Dad, and make an entertaining episode.

Stan trying to teach the boys how to be men by killing cows is of course the exaggerative father figure trait that Stan possesses, and it gets out of hand quickly, and is hilarious the whole way through. Whether Stan is telling the cattle board what happened at home with Roger and the girls as a subplot or the scheme is occurring while Stan is at the meeting, it's hilarious, and overall this is a very entertaining episode.moreless
  • I'm Mad as Hell and I'm not going to take it Anymore!

Stan got Steve and friends togehter and take the cattle to market by horseback. Not knowing that they're mad beef to the market and what's worse, Stan is eating it and getting madder by the minute. theis is one of the best epiosdes of the season. Steve and friends on horseback. Stan eating the mad beef. Trouble between Mother and daughter. Just another fun epiosde from the creators of "Family Guy." The fun part of the epiosde is Stan getting Steve and his friends into me. He fail at that, but he brought the beef to market. the Mad beef, that is.moreless
  • This TV show just keeps surprising me with the quality of its episodes.

Another week, another top American Dad! episode. This season has climbed my animated show ranking from 5 to 2 just in the recent weeks, surpassing the also rising but at a slower rate The Simpsons, also passing the rapidly declining Famiyl Guy and the outgrown Spongebob Squarepants. The episode had one fantastic storyline and one relatively amusing one. The idea of Stan going mad from tainted beef is very funny and the reality/false reality switch was one of the highlights of the episode. Roger also managed to live out one of my fantasies, being a judge in a skank-off. American Dad! can't go wrong at the moment.moreless

    • Hayley: Get off me, you cow! Francine: I'll spit in your lazy eye! Hayley: I had that corrected! Francine: I can still tell!

    • Hayley: You have a crush on the liquor store girl? Roger: Oh, heavens, yes! That's why I need you to pretend to be my girlfriend so she'll get jealous and want me for herself. Hayley: Roger, I'm not sure that'll... Roger: Hayley, you gotta help, you just gotta! Hayley: Okay, I'll go down there with you. Roger: God bless you. You're an angel. Now go dress like a woman. I have heels if you need to borrow.

    • Snot: I think it's possible there just might be something wrong with your dad. Steve: Oh, yeah? There's something wrong with your dad, too. Your dad left you! Snot: Uh, I'm not comparing dads. I'm just saying yours is in his undewear swatting at invisible owls.

    • Snot: This is crazy, Steve. Your dad is gonna kill us all. Steve: Your dad shot your mom in the face with a flare gun! (pauses) I'm sorry, Snot. I don't mean to keep going there.

    • Stan: (after Barry hits the windshield) I see one tear, Fatty, and I'm doing it again.

    • Titanic Roger sketching Hayley nude wearing a necklace is an allusion to the famous scene in the movie, Titanic, where Jack Dawson draws Rose.

    • Steve: Moths, why did it have to be moths? This a reference to the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. In the film, Jones says the same line except with the word "snakes" instead of "moths" since Jones is afraid of snakes.
