When Stan catches Steve playing imaginary games with his toys, he decides to take his son down to Mexico to help him become a man. But the trip takes a turn for the worse when Stan and Steve are kidnapped by a drug cartel, and it's up to Steve to break himself and Stan out of captivity. I thought that this was a superb Season 8 finale of "American Dad". I thought it was this season's season finale but better than last season's season finale... yes, I know it sounds confusing but you know what I mean. I am pretty much disappointed that this is the worst season that AD has ever had ever seen because this season has gotten more very weak episodes than enjoyable or at least decent episodes so I can only hope that Seth MacFarlane makes next season much more better than how this season turned out. I'll give Seth credit for making Season 10 of FG better than Season 9 of FG but I just hope that Seth can make both FG and AD have a very good and enjoyable season. No way, he's gonna give a good next season to The Cleveland Show though. The season for The Cleveland Show rarely got a very funny and enjoyable episode. Anyways, back to this episode. I really enjoyed the season finale but I enjoyed the first half of the episode more. I loved the first half of the episode but then once it got to the second half of the episode, I started to enjoy it less but that doesn't mean I hate it though. I still liked the second half but just not as much as the first half. This episode had a lot of funny parts. There was even some humor in this episode where it got to the point that it was so hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing. My score is a little low because the second half of the episode was boring at time and I didn't like the scene with everyone "throwing up". I know Seth makes these kind of cartoons to add some nasty humor to it but "throwing up" is a humor that I don't find funny at all and it just makes me want to throw up in reality so I didn't find that throwing up scene funny. I really enjoyed how Steve was using his imagination in this episode and I also enjoyed the message of the episode too which was you're never too old to use your imagination. I'll admit, even though I'm a 17 year old almost turning 18 years old... I'll even use my imagination once in a while just so I can escape the "life" for a while and because I get bored. The ending was another part that made me laugh and more humor in this episode made me laugh as well and I'm glad that Stan decided to let Steve keep his toys when he realized that using your imagination can be good. Overall, a superb Season 8 finale of "American Dad"... it would've been perfect if the second half of the episode didn't get boring at times plus that puking scene. I could just only hope that Seth MacFarlane goes to back to his original roots with this show and makes next season much better than this one. 9/10moreless

Not the best American Dad of the season, but still a very good episode of the show and a fitting finale for the season. Steve had some great lines too, something that is not always the case. A clever premise, and most of the scenes were funny so I'm confident giving it a 7.5/10 and a must-see rating.
