Usually this show is fresh and original and sets the bar for Animation Domination, but today, today I doubt the other comedies will have to work very hard to top it. They blatantly took Family Guy plots here, either with James Woods replacing Brian or Brian and Peter having a riff and Brian leaving.

But I really don't care if you use rehashed storylines, what bothered me more is that the laughs were few and far between in this episode, and that is not customary in the world of American Dad. Hopefully this episode does not cause FOX to cancel the show.

When Stan and Roger disagree over a recent string of events, Roger moves out of the house in protest but is quickly replaced by another warm body. After Roger learns of the replacement roomie, the two of them battle for Stan's affection. Meanwhile, Steve gets a new job at school that allows him to do a little self-promotion over the P.A. system.

  • Fantastic

Yet another great episode of American Dad to add to the list. They have nailed the formula perfectly between the sincere and outright ridiculous. Roger is fast becoming the star of the show. This is great, but my one hope is that they dont overuse him and run him dry of potential too soon. The idea of him being interchangeable with Andy Dick is so surreal and well observed that it alone makes this episode a classic. Another entertaining side story involving steve becoming the morning accouncer at school. American Dad is now the crown jewel in Seth MacFarlane's creative family, although the family guy and cleveland show are not exactly putting up much of a fight.
  • superb

Roger gets drunk and nearly hit by a truck, but Stan, at the last minute, saves him. Haley reminds them of the reason why Roger lives with them; Stan was going to help him get to safety when it was revealed he was an alien, but then Roger ended up saving Stans' life. Now that Stan has saved Rogers', they see no reason to still have Roger in the house.

Good episode. Both plots were pretty good. Near the end of the main plot, it got kind of weird for me, but it was still pretty enjoyable, and so overall my final grade is a B+ or so. Pretty solid episode, at least I thought so
  • American Dad keeps coming on strong!

Is it just me, or does American Dad just keep getting better and better? One of the better episodes in what is looking like a very good season for American Dad, this episode is every bit as sick, perverse and funny as hell as I've come to expect from this show. Looks like Andy Dick really took his lumps in this episode, and I wonder if his lawyers and his press agent have seen this one yet. It seems like all the really good episodes seem to center on Roger the alien and his weird little affairs and this episode was no exception. American Dad shows no sign of slowing down. It always delivers!
