  • A romantic ep for Jake/Rose with a shocking twist I never saw coming.

In this episode Rose almost told Jake she loves him, which he finds out later. Like I said it's romantic for them and takes place mostly in the dream realm. We find out more about Rotwood and his past. We also learn that Chimeras make people cranky. Trixie might make a good doctor. And the twist: Rose was taken by the huntsclan at birth. her parents are still alive, she just doesn't know where they are. That was probably the last straw for Rose. If this where in her point of view, she would say she hates the huntsclan. We also learn Rose has a twin! And Brad dreams of being a ballerina lol.
  • Hmm, we have a Jake/Rose episode that takes place in a dreamrealm. My life is complete...

For the oddest reason, I've had an attraction towards dream-centered episodes. The Danny Phantom epiosde "Frightmare" was a superbly done piece of 22 minute animation. (Though James Garret contributed greatly to the quality of Frightmare)

Dreamscape was no exception. It was a dream episode, which would give it a good score to begin with. But add Jake/Rose and you get my 3rd or 4th favorite episode.

To begin with my lengthy episode description and review, it starts with Jake failing Rotwood's class and having to do a report on the greatest genius of all time, but he doesn't know who that genius is. Frustrated, on one of his dream dates with Rose, Rose leads him to Rotwood's subconscious to retrieve the answers.

But when Jake takes the easy way, it always has a twist. He unleashes a chimera into the dream realm, and the whole world (Or at least New York City) is completely pissed off. So Jake, Rose, Trixie and Spud travel the dream realm to catch this Chimera.

And, we get a good 15-ish minutes of them chasing this monster and then having Rotwood discover them, only for his car alarm to go off, courtesy of dream objects, they fall back to sleep, and you know how this goes, right? Since I suck at describing action scenes.

But in the midst of the crazed action, Rose chases the Chimera into her mind, and takes an inadvertent side trip into her earliest memories, where she stumbles upon a startling revelation: unlike what the Huntsclan led her to believe, her parents didn't die in a car accident or her mother didn't die in childbirth and the dad got depressed and committed suicide or something like that which Disney wouldn't allow, but she was taken. And Rose had a twin sister, leading up to a possible story arc for the ever so distant season three.

So, let's wrap this up. This was one of the best eps of amdrag. Being Human and Homecoming topped it, but out of 52 episodes, a #3 spot is still the golden crown.
  • This episode was really great.

Dreamscape was about Jake and Rose, Trixi and Spud going inside people's dreams to try and prepare for a test their crazy teacher Rotwood is giving. I really liked it because it was full of comedy, quite alot of action seens, and some drama. I really enjoyed it. Alot of other American Dragon : Jake Log fus liked it too as you can see. It's a very interesting episode to fans, people new to American ragon : Jake Long, and people who are really bord and have nothing better to watch. Rose was in this episode so that ment some Rose + Jake shipping. Alot of fans liked that too. Anways it's a great episode for fans and other people to try out. It's not one of the best but it's still great.

This was a funny Jake and Rose episode. You also found out some things. Like Rose has a family, and the Huntsman took her from her parents when she was born. The funny parts mostly happened in Rotwood's, Brad's, and Spud's dreams.

Rotwood's was just messed up completly. Brad was a ballerina, which was hilarious. And Spud was a superhero. Another funny thing was when Jake was in Rose's dream the second time, and he got his pants pulled down right infront of her. And Trixie was a surgeon i her dream. Jake passed his test at the end of the episode.
  • One of Jake and Rose's dream dates!

A real funny episode but yet it reveals some secrets about Rose's past. Some of the secrets would be that the Huntsclan actually kidnapped Rose when she was born instead of the fact that the Huntsclan took her in when her parents died. Another magical creature is revealed in this episode and that would be the chimera that lived in Rotwood's subconcious. It was let out when Rose and Jake were retrieving the answer key to the test, Jake forgot to close the door when he they left. Because Jake forgot, the creature was free to roam in anyone's dream and because it was in other people's dreams, it made them moody in the real world. This episode is adventurous, sort of romatic, and revealing! A perfect episode!
  • Jake and Rose abuse the ability to enter peoples' dreams when they accidentally set a Chimera loose.

This was a very very good episode! I was extremely impressed. I think it's sweet that Jake and Rose are dating in their dreams; despite the fact that they are supposed to be enemies. I was furious when Rotwood wouldn't tell Jake what to do his project on, but I was pleased when Jake did well anyway. I really like the fighting scenes at the end of the episode. I also like Spud's dreams about being a super hero. I laughed when I saw that scene. I can't believe Rose has a twin!!! I hope we get to see her soon in the series.

The episode opens with Jake and Rose on a dream date. Jake asks Rose about her parents and Rose tells him they passed away shortly after she was born. Jake then transfers them to an island with his charm bracelet. Rose tries to tell Jake something, but Jake's alarm clock rings. Jake's late for school again. Rotwood tells Jake that he would have no problem flunking him out of the 7th grade, but he must give him a makeup test on a genius of modern time. Jake asks who, but Rotwood refuses to tell.

Then rose takes jake into rotwood's subconscious. They find the answers to the test, but the release an evil chimaera.

They then fight throughout many dream worlds and they capture the chimaera. Rose finds out that she has a family.

The answers to the test turn out to be about rotwood

I like it that Rose and Jake have a cool way of meeting and all but what was really cool is Rose finds out more about her self! This brings up so many questions. Like where is her family now and are they looking for her? Will she tell Jake what is her sister name? Are they even alive? Oh what gonna happen? and still what going to happen with Jake and Rose future?
  • Jake breaks out in zits.

I thought this was a nice episode. It's nice to see that Rose doesn't care what Jake looks like but who he is on the inside. Oh and the dream bracelet at the end was clever, not to mention the hinting that Rose L**** Jake. Hah! I wonder if they'll actually say it to each other on the show. That would be interesting.
  • LOVED IT! Almost all about Professor Rotwood! YAY!!!!!

This episode was really great! It was very funny seeing them go into people's dreams ESPECIALLY Rotwood's! I love this guy sooooo much and it was great to see some past memories of his and what he thought of himself in his dreams. Some nice character revealing on his part and ROSE! We learn important details on her past! This ep. is by far the best ep. I've seen(I have yet to see them all so far). I highly recommend this ep. Especially if you are new to Jake Long. I hope they have more episodes with Professor Rotwood! I can't say enough great things about this funny man!

This episode is one of the most informative episodes yet. It was funny but it could have used more action and/or fighting but besides that it was a pretty good episode. This has been the eighth episode of the new season. The episode is about when Jake and Rose are travelling through dreams. Then Jake needs answers on this test so he and Rose go into Rotwoods dreams but find this monster that they let out into evert bodys dreams. Now they must return the monster (Chimara) back where it came from.

It reveals alot about Roses past that you cant miss.

this was a good episode for many reason, which of those reasons are jake and rose's dream dating, that was so sweet, professer rotwood saying aww man, very funny, also his dreams, spuds dream was cool and so was jake saying tally-ho so cute but he was right it would never catch on. professer rotwood being the topic of the test was no suprise, im glad jake passed tho. and now to the more important stuff, rose has a family and a sister but not just any sister, a twin!!! i so cant wait till they figure all that out.
  • This was one of the greatest episodes of not judt American Dragon: Jake Long but of any T.V. show. Rose having a twin must mean jackpot for Jake!!!

I thought that when American Dragon: Jake Long was first aired that it was the dumbest cartoon ever. But after awhile the plot had sunk into my system and now I am obsessing over it! I like t.v. shows/cartoons with all the emotions tied up in it like romance, action, adventure, ect. And when I finaly decided to watch it and truley listen to what the characters had to say, I fell in love with it. Mostly the characters. Infact it hs inspired me. Pretty soon you'll all here about my trilogy of adventure books I'm writing. It may take a while but I have the time. I'm only fourteen right now!!!
  • This episode is awesome. Your in for a surprise if you havent seen it!

This episode is my second favorite. My favorite episode is when Rose found out Jake is a dragon. In other words, I love all of the rose episodes. I was dissapionted in the episode with the crylock since rose and Jake werent able to see each other, But I felt better in the one where they saw rose again and she started to help them. At first I thought that Jake had been slaughed, but I saw the commercial for the doppleganger episode and that gave away that he was alive. Rose is my favorite character on american Dragon. Go Rose!
