I haven't been here in ages as I've been busy trying to promote both American Dragon Jake Long and Kim Possible to the media. Trying, begging, the usual stuff to get them to write articles and stories about our fight to win back two amazing Disney animated shows that should have never been cancelled in the first place.

I'm still going to continue on focusing on writing to the media but if you American Dragon Jake Long fans are still out there and this isn't just a deserted board then I need your help...Jake and Rose need your help. Every American Dragon fan needs your help. As we can only accomplish this by sticking together and working together for the common good of getting more Kim Possible and more American Dragon, Jake Long.

This article I wrote at NowPublicis still being read which is good, because it promotes both Kim Possible and American Dragon Jake Long and the title speaks for itself. What Kim Possible and American Dragon, Jake Long fans want.

I think this board is pretty deserted. Every Am Drag board is completely dead. Even I don't really come here anymore.

Well, I would still love to see the return of Am Drag.

I come here every now and then i want the show to come back i really do but we have to be realistic. We're like the only 3 people who post every now and then and we were decitated but this board used to be so much active and now there is only 3 of us. But there are still fans out there if you want to save the show you need to get a gathering of old fans.

I occasionally come around here. I think it'd be safer to assume American Dragon getting a comic series like Darkwing Duck before a TV show revival.

Not all of the boards are completely dead. At least, I hope not... The FFADJL site is still around, if you guys want to look at it.

Another season of AD would be a terrible idea after so long(no pun intended, and asking for another season of KP after you already won that monstrosity of a "4th season" is just avaricious. I'm with DeepSouthern. Not only is it more likely, its is a WAY better idea. I think the focus for AmDrag fans Should be a DVD release of the series and more merch along that line... at the most a made for TV movie. If we get any one of those things I'd be quite ecstatic.

Actually, according to Jeff Goode, at his website, the series was designed to be able to run for as many seasons as was wanted.

Appearently Disney is taking a "break" from doing a season 3 because season 2 was extra long (no pun meant) and that some of the episodes are still airing in other parts of the world and on other channels. Link: http://www.jeffgoode.com/tv/americandragon/faq07.htm

Though if you ask me it's a pretty darn long break. >_> And now even the "Disney XD" site is missing. But it might just be down for repairs or something. They seem to be making some changes to the overall site. At least they still have the oringinal "Disney Channel" AmDrag site.

Then again, Jeff did have this to say on the matter: http://www.jeffgoode.com/tv/americandragon/faq11.htm

So maybe we missed something? Personally, if we truly don't a third season, I'd settle for DVD sets of both seasons, and a TV movie as the Finale. I mean let's face it, "Hong Kong Longs" was great, but it felt ridculously rushed when it could have been a heck of alot better.

It's very nice that Jeff has(d) hope for the series getting picked up for another season. However, I kind of agree. It's been too long. God knows we do not need another KP Season Four. If you look up the definition of "Jump the Shark" in the dictionary, you will see a screencap of a Kim Possible Season Four episode. HOWEVER, I am pretty confident that if Eddie Guzelian and Matt Negrete were involved, it would be a quality season. Those two are the true master minds to me. I will forever be a fan of Am Drag. I would love to see boxed sets of both seasons. And heck, a TV movie would be better than nothing. But...I'll always be open to a Season Three.

I want to see both the show on DVD and a TV Finale because like ArkansanDragon said the Hong Kong Longs was great but it was rushed. It didn't explain what happened to Rosa sister and if she moved back or what live would be like i think a DVD or TV movie could get the show back for a third season but i think if i got a TV movie i would be happy with that.

I know. All those fanfics suggesting Jake's wish became true by creating a reality where the Huntsclan takes Rose's sister make me worried.

Unless you believe in a show and are willing to go the distance it will never happen. Nobody ever thought Family Guy and especially and I use the word especially Futurama would rise from the animation grave but here they both are and Scooby Doo and the entire gang of mystery Inc are back. Nothing is forever as long as the fans drive the show. But if you walk away from a show that you say you love and want back and just let it die...it is dead...believe me without a fight and a fight where your in it for the long run that show doesn't have a prayer of coming back.

American Dragon Jake Long is a show that deserves to continue on just like Kim Possible does. Disney made the biggest mistake ever cancelling both these shows as there was so much opportunity and marketing that they could have gained from both these shows. All I'm saying is I'm in for the distance for both Kim Possible and American Dragon and I believe in hope that something will happen if wethe fans are willing to go the distance with it.

I don't think Kim Possible deserves another season it would be overkill they got another season and the fans just want more and more they should have just ended it maybe after the movie or just keep it ended where it's and i really get angry when Kim Possible fans complain they need more they got what they want with another season but now they're just being greedy. But ADJL fans need to be reasonable to a 3rd season maybe good or maybe bad. Some shows get a lot better after taking some time off to think about things while some shows get a lot worse because after a break because the writers and creators don't love it as they use to or they have a different writing style or they believe the characters should be a lot different. But i think a TV Movie would be good because it could give the fans what they want and the creators and writers could finish off the story the right way and give the whole point of a season 3 in a hour or two hours without any filler episodes (even though the fillers were great.) I think the TV movie is the best way to go. But if we want this to work first we need to get some of older memebers back like Coltspengiun and Dragnup. And we need a new moderator because i don't think he shows up anymore.

I have to say I agree with JandSman about the KP thing. They got their 4th season and a two part season finale and several movies, not to mention several DS and GameBoy games and one for the Playstation game system.

I'm sorry, but as much as I love KP, I think it's done pretty darn good for itself by now. Granted, it would be interesting to see Kim and Ron off to college, and to see how "The Tweebs" are dealing with High School. And how Drakken and Shego are doing. But still, I'd say it's about run it's course. Give me an ADJL/KP crossover movie and you can pretty much stick a fork in it.

Speaking of which, there's plently of room for you guys at FFADJL. and I'm the moderator there, so that would take care of that problem.

I think many people here missed what I meant as I never said it COULDN'T continue. Obviously it could and it SHOULD have because like Arkansan pointed out from Jeff Goode's own mouth... This WAS quite obviously a series designed to expand quite nicely and accommodate any extensions without seeming overbearing.

My point was it has been FAR too long for anything we get to be of actual quality since so much of the talent has been distanced from the show for an extended period of time. That being said, I still have much faith in Jeff, Matt and Eddie if they were to be on board for a 3rd season, much like amdragfrak, I trust them a lot (especially seeing Guzelian's writing on the Secret Saturdays *love*).

However I'm still kind of jaded by the gap. Nothing good ever comes from an extended leave of this kind. Sometimes you make a wish and it comes true... just... not the way you expected.

A lot, actually. Rose's sister, a love triangle between Rose, Jake and Danika, Jake's relationship with his Dad now, Rotwood could be a possibility, and let's not forget the villains still on the loose (Chang, 88, 89, Bananas B, Pandarus, Fury). Add in a few filler or new story arcs and you've easily got a third season, maybe even room for a fourth.

Like Jeff said, this show was intended to go on for as long as possible.

Not true Family Guy and Futurama are both good examples of shows that could be good after a break. I don't think this is a Break though i know the show is cancalled. But i think if it came back it could be great and i want the loose ends to be cut. I want to know what happened to Rose sister.

I beg to differ. I think the new seasons of Family Guy and Futurama are AWFUL. To each their own... but rarely does a show ever come back and either 1. not have the same crew or 2. the crew was too long distanced form the show to make it feel like the original episodes.
