  • Rose and Jake finally apart and the huntsclan gets destroyed.

well then I can't belive I forgot to do this show! Anyways this is the sadest epsiode in the hole show. The huntsmen finds out that Rose is working with Jake and gets her to bring him to where the skulls are. Rose and Jake are the homecoming king and queen and Spud and Trixie go to the dance TOGETHER, after there kiss in the kissy kissy closet. (don't ask) So the skulls are in place and the hunts men looks like he is going to get his wish... until someone (yeah Rose) knocks him out and wishes for the destrusion off the huntsclan.

    *quotes*

    Jake: rose why did you

Rose: I said there was only one way for this to end and this is it for the destruction of all Huntsclan.

Jake: (putting his arms on her shoulders): but your one of them. That means Rose:(taking his arm off): I no what it means but even if we destroy the skulls they no your human identy Jake they will find your family like they did mine. This way they will be safe (puts her hand on his face) they will all be safe hunts master raises in the sky. And rose starts to. Jake: butt

Rose (raising): thank you Jake for everything, I'll never forget you! (Waves hand)

    Jake:(grabbing her hand): rose NO!

Rose: Jake let go I'll be ok, I promise.. I'll be ok

He lets go her hand and she raises

Jake:(runs and gets the skull): we have to do something we have to save her

Fu: sorry kid, the skulls need to be destroyed Grandpa: to use them for your own personal gain

Jake: it wouldn't be for my personal gain it would be for hers, (points to rose) she deserves a normal life with a family that cares about her. (Raises the skull in place) I wish rose was never taken by the hunts clan. Everyone looks

    then the famous flashbacks

I really have feeling for you

    let me cool you off

    Hiya!

    this is our dream date

    here's your proof

    it's all so weird

    Jake?

    crying...

    Jake: consider them destroyed!

Now Rose don't rember anything about dragons or Jake!

when Rose said *thank your Jake, for everything I'll never forget you. I burst out in tears and then when it showed the flashbacks I cryed even harder!

ps. this was the first american dragon: Jake long epsiode I ever saw.
  • This is the greatest episode of the entire series!

What do you get when you cross the Huntsman and 1 irreversable wish? A whole laoot trouble. This episode is a definate classic that shows the Huntsman finding out about Rose's treason to the Huntsclan. He blackmails her into giving him the last 3 skulls and it all leads to the greatest, most heartfelt battle sequences i have ever seen. You will be thinking about it quite a while after it's over. This episode is filled with the same great comedy of the other episodes but with the extra dramatic feeling it makes this awesome. This is the greatest episode ever.
  • Probably the best AmDrag episode.

This episode has to be by far, the best episode. EVERYTHIHNG changes! Huntsclan- GONE, Rose- reset, Jake- changed forever... Now the series has taken a drastic turn and from normal in one episode, to a wild twist and a different mood in the next. The thing I loved, was now, Jake must find a way to get the chemistry together again with Rose (barring if he ever has/wants to.) They take away two main characters that you think mindset are going to be changed in the final episode. But this series is different, they have a different goal for the series finale. This episode marks the beginning of the end, in my case, but also it would be a shame seeing it go. For many episodes they build this amazing chemistry, that for many, thought could be unaltered, untouchable, or unbreakable. Another great thing that they touched on was style. They kept the same American Dragon style and did a fantastic storyline and plot. What I mean is, they sold the twist perfectly, and at the same time, you knew you still were watching an American Dragon episode. Great, Fantastic, and any other synonym, it was mind-blowing. 80:100

With Homecoming in the way Jake and Rose get nominated as king and queen and as the same time the huntsclan finds out that rose betraye them and is helping jake, threatening rose that if he doesn't help him her parent's woul be killed she betrays jake, The fight sequence of this episode was really thrilling and a very nail-biting episode when Jake and Rose fights again. when The huntslan is about to wish using the skulls as the destruction of all magical creatures she stops him and wished for the destruction of the huntsclan. This episode was a tearjerker because Jake wished that rose was never taken by the huntsclan he really loves rose and wants her to be happy in the end rose moves to hong kong but jake is happy because she's happy.

Dante and Mae did a great job with the characters and put some emotion into them.
  • The Huntsclan acquires all the skulls, and this time, with Rose's help. Homecoming night and Jake stands more confused than ever. The Huntsclan and the dragons face off for the last time.

Wow, this show is really depressing, especially if you're a fan of Jake and Rose. Despite and before the depressing facts, this show is amazing. I give it a 9.7 not a perfect score only because of the 3 stupid things: Trixie and Spud's awkward relationship, #88 and #89's humor, and the horrid fact that Rose must now leave the show. Anyway, the concept of this being the final battle with the Huntsclan is spectacular, I've had it with them. The writers had it planned out fairly well, having the whole "Let's show the Huntsman's face finally". After Rose makes her wish for the destruction of all Huntsclan and she ascends into the sky, I felt the most emotional ever from any Disney show. Her assuring look, her sincere eyes, the departure of Jake and Rose's hands, it all brought tears to my eyes. And then I felt happy once Jake bumped into her at school, but the tears returned as I learned she would be moving to Hong Kong, or in Disney language, never returning in the show. Of course my theory was proven wrong with "The Hong Kong Longs" but her absence from the show discourages my viewing.
  • Homcoming is coming in a few days , Jake and Rose wants to go to Homcoming together but they just can't . Huntsman trying to get the last Aztec skull , but Jake has stopped his plan . And Rose 's secret is out , she got no choice but to betray Jake ...

This is one of the best episodes of the show . Rose wished the Hunts will be destroyed . jake wished for Rose to not be taken in by the Huntsclan . When Rose is disappearing , that just makes me want to cry . They love each other , they are meant to be for each other , why must they be seperated ? Really , life is even so cruel in the world of cartoons . Why did Disney make Rose disappeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear !!!!!!! She went Hokng Kong , so Jake will never see her back ... that is just so sad .... The love of them , is already fated .....

Rose gets a normal life, the huntsclan get destroyed, we find out trixie and spud will sray just firneds, and so much more too much to fit into one episode why disney wouldn't allow the epic two parter we shall never know. In this episode jake and rose are nominated for homecoming king and queen and jake keeps trying to get rose to go. Also trixie and spud kiss by axident. While getting the 13th and final aztec skull the huntsman gets film of rose talking to jake while he's in dragon form and gets her to betray jake. At the homecoing dance the untsclan arrives to put all the skulls into the gargules of panthean so they can destroy all magical creatures. While the huntsman is mid way through his wish she blasts him and wished for all huntsclan to be destroyed. Jake then wishes for rose to have never been taken by the huntsclan so she can have the normal life she always wanted but never had. The most tear jerking ep of a tv show i have ever seen period.
  • It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and left my mouth wide open when it was over. The most dramatic episode of the series.

This episode will make you feel a lot of different emotions. Anger at disney for getting rid of Rose, happiness for Rose as she finally got the life she deserves, shock as there seems to be no hope left for Jake and Rose's relationship, and most of all just sadness because Rose is gone, at least for now. And you can just feel Jake's pain, even though he pretends he's fine, you know he's not. I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry, because I did. Nothing before this had ever made me cry. Rose's willingness to sacrifice her life and everything she ever believed in for Jake's sake, for love. That's what got to me. And how Jake loves Rose enough to just let her go, even after all they'd been through, so she could be happy. This is a must see for even the most casual Amdrag fan. But get the tissues. You're gonna need them.
  • ok i don't know what "pivotal" means...but i do know this is the greatest episode of amdrag EVER. if this was the only episode of the show i liked, id still be obsessed over the show. oh so sad.....the death of the huntsclan.

    omg....best damn episode ever.

    i love homecoming!

    what a tearjerker.

    chills...everytime i see it.

and i saw it back in march.

still cna't get over that great episode.

of course, the huntsclan wil live on in my memory, cause i love the huntsclan.

but it was sad to see them, get sucked into a vortex, or well "bought the farm".

and of course, there's the whole rose being suicidal, and then getting rescued, and finding her family, or well, never being taken by the huntsclan blah blah blah.

not the highlight of the episode, for me.

but the huntsman is just plain awesome in that episode.

this episode alone proves why amdrag MUST get third season.
  • Jake and Rose are nominated for homecoming king and queen, but with the huntsman finally getting hold of all 13 skulls, their relationship hangs in the balance.

As you can see by my last review for an ADJL episode (The Hunted), I kind of thought that The Hunted sucked. This is that episode's reverse image.

This episode was probably the best in the series. It starts with Jake and Rose being nominated for homecoming king and queen. But at last, the huntsman has located the last crystal skull and that means only one thing: the destruction of all magical creatures.

Of course, Jake has 3 of them, so all Rose had to do was get a hold of the huntsman's ten skulls and destroy them with Jake's three, and they could finally be together, maybe anyways, I'm not too sure.

But the huntsman and Rose have a deal: Rose gets the three skulls Jake has and in return, gets to see her parents. Since for as long as we can remember, or since Dreamscape, we know that Rose has wanted to meet her parents, she accepts it.

At the homecoming dance, which takes place on the rooftop where the garoyles of pantheon, which are needed to make the skulls work, are located. So Jake is there, wondering "Where the hell is Rose?" Well, she's with the huntsclan, seeminly on the Huntsclan's side. She chain Jake up and the as the huntsman is just about to wish for the destruction of all magical creatures, Rose steps up and wishes for the destruction of all the huntsclan, which includes her.

So as the huntsclan is destroyed, Rose is also nearly destroyed as well. That scene makes me cry every time I see it, or think of it. Jake then steps up as well and wished Rose was never taken by the huntsclan, thus giving Rose a normal life, but therefore, undoing their entire relationship. He meets the memory blank Rose the next day, but she has to move to Hong Kong. We leave that for the series finale.

All and all, this was the best episode ever. It made me cry and it was wonderfully executed. 10/10, definately!

or so the episode should have ended. alas, that was not to be. Rose double deals the huntsman, grabs the 13th skull, and wishes for the destruction of all huntsclan. including herself. suicide.

well her wish comes true and all the huntsclan get killed.

but then after a romantic little scene, jake takes the skull and wishes rose was never taken by the huntsclan. damn, rose got lucky got jake gets his wish, she's saved, but has now lived an entire nother life with her parents.

and that's that. the end of the jake/rose story.

pretty damn good episode, i think it was the best.

(ooh and best line: "it appears we have a traitor in our midsts......"

well i ment to do the second season in order but that just didnt happen so anyway enough with the extra un-needed information. so this was a sad episode, it started off like it was going to be really cute a sweet but it wasnt. i thought that jake was being stupid by talking to rose like that in the middle of them fighting its no wonder they were caught! but yea i was so sad when rose betrayed jake but i was glad she was able to kick butt before she was black mailed. any way i felt so bad for jake he looked so heart broken when she betrayed him and then after she was taken up cuz she was hunts clan, it was so sad and then he smashed the skull, you could so feel his pain, i know i did. i was glad when he saw her at the end though but it was sad too, the do i know you part, i hope she ends up some how remembering but i dont know how that would work. also in her dream she had a twin but i didnt see another kid in the car with her, so what happened with that? i guess i will have to wait and see but it felt a bit unresolved to me, i just hope that she is brought back up later and not totally forgoten about. hunts clan gone, so who is going to be the big bad guy now? the dark dragon? well he doesnt seem like the best but i guess he will do. we saw was the hunts master looked like... so wicked tatoo all over his body but he looked alittle wimpy like in the face but whatever. 88 and 89 have gotten better being able to get trixy and spud, i thought it was funny when he couldnt see out of his eye holes though, also they are still around and i really dont want to see them again but i am afraid we will, so sad they are so pathetic. ok so spud and trixy, so funny! them in the kissy kissy place ha ha ha but they figured out they would never get together which is fine by me they were too good of friends... though i cant picture spud with any one. :)

The episode opens at the Homecoming committee. Spud unveils a plan to kiss Stacey using the 'Kissy-Kissy' closet, which is the props closet, basically open only to members of the Homecoming Float Committee. Trixie also signs up to the Float Committee in hopes of kissing Kyle Wilkins. Sun Park informs Jake and Rose that they have been nominated for Homecoming King and Queen. Jake is very happy, though Rose does not seem so thrilled about the news. Rose finds out that the Huntsclan have captured the last Aztec Skull and The Huntsman finds out that Rose is cooperating with a dragon, because he sees it in a camera that he has plotted. He blackmails her, using a clip of her parents and so Rose finally agrees to go along with his plan, in exchange for information about her parents. At the dance, The Huntsclan attacks and Jake finds out that Rose betrayed him, because she was forced to lead the Huntsclan to Gramp's shop to get the last three skulls. In an epic battle, Rose finally overpowers Jake. Just as the Huntsman is about to make his wish, Rose strikes him from behind, and wishes for the destruction of the Huntsclan. Unwilling to let Rose die, Jake uses the skulls to wish that Rose was never taken by the Huntsclan. After the action subsides, Jake hopes to see Rose at school, and when he finally sees her, she doesn't have an inkling of who Jake is. Jake is saddened when he learns that Rose is moving to Hong Kong with her family, because of a job opportunity that her father gets. when i watched it, i cried, jumped, and happier than a snail.

This episode of American Dragon : Jake Long was extreamly sad. Jake and Rose are the prom King and Queen and at the end, Rose forgets all about Jake. Yes, I really cried. Rose is blackmailed by the Huntsclan learder so she can get the skulls for him. Wher she does, she wishes for all the Huntsclan to be destroyed. This was very sad because she was one of them. Before she is detroyed, Jake uses the skulls and wishes that Rose was never taken as a baby. This makes her forget all about him, the Huntsclan, and his dragon powers.

I would recomened this episode to whoever is new to American Dragon : Jake Long. Yes, it was that good. All my faverate characters were in it and a few are never seen again. Sad, very sad. At least # 88 and # 89 are still alive. But poor Jake...

I remember when I saw it online I was crying when Rose said "Jake, let go". and the part when they had the flashbacks. When they finaly showed it in the US I didn't cry because I knew what was going to happen but I did cry the third time I saw it here. But my favorite part I would say when the Huntsman confronted Rose that she was working with Jake and I also loved the ending because Jake saved Rose so she could be happy even thought he was going to be upset after she left, and what makes him happy is that he knows that she's happy. "Happy Homecoming" - Rose and Jake
  • Rose and Jake's love is tested. If things don't go well, the Huntsman may get his way.

This episode had everything you could hope for and maybe more. Love, betrayal--therefore angst, action, element of surprise, and a little humor. Jake and Rose's love for another and trust is once again tested when the Huntsman realizes his prized apprentice is not only working along side the American Dragon, but in love with him. He uses Rose's parents against her to force her into betraying the remaining location of the Aztec Skulls. The pace was a little rushed, but that was to be expected due to they only had 30 mins to complete the storyline. The voice acting was spectacular, you could hear the pain and anger in Dante Basco's voice when Jake destroyed the skulls after wishing Rose had never been taken by the Huntsclan--therefore forgetting him as well. The fight between the Huntsman and the American Dragon could be longer but it was all right; and the side story with Trixie and Spud was something to ease the story a little bit from the heavy theme of this episode. Though in all honesty, after reading the Amdrag blog, I realized that this episode could've been so much more--if only Disney didn't have it's silly rules. I'm not saying this episode was bad, but it could've been longer and more stretched out a bit, instead of rushed. Also, the ending of this episode was not something I really liked, and had hoped that the creators could've put the ending they wanted instead--Rose staying. I must admit this is my favorite episode and if your not a fan of AD:JL I must recommend this is one of the episodes to change your mind.

OMG! THAT'S ALL I CAN SAY! Best episode, ever! I got so emotionally to it, I actually cried at the end!! SO AMAZING! I can't believe Rose is still gone!! I know she will be back, but to think she actually moved to Hong Kong! I can't believe it! This episode had to be thought it, so awesome. And to see how hurt Jake is inside, well...at the end he doesn't really show it, but I know he is really upset. I can't wait for Hong Kong Longs, where Rose and Jake will be reunited! STILL A GREAT EPISODE THOUGH!!!
  • An extremely good episodes of American Dragon Jake Long. At the beginning of the series, you wouldn't have expected something so great. Its a sad ending, but that kind of makes it better. Spoilers probably to follow.

In this episode, things seem to be going alright for Jake and Rose. They're nominated to be the homecoming king and queen. Unfortunately, the Huntsclan has been gathering the 13 skulls that that they could use to finally acheive their goal; to rid the world of all magical creatures. Then, the Huntsman catches Huntsgirl talking with our friend Jake as a dragon on video, exposing her betrayal to the Huntsclan. The Huntsman says to Rose that he'll kill her parents if she doesn't lead him to the Dragon. She leads him to him at Homecoming, and the Huntsman begins to state his wish, but then Jake interuptas and wishes for the Huntsclan to disapear, and them that Rose was never a part of the Huntsclan. All of Rose's memories of Jake and her life as the Huntsgirls are erased, and she moves, with her parents, away.

I loved all of the drama poor Jake had to face. The look on his face when he learned that he was betrayed was so sad/shocked; it made me gasp at the news and look on his face. It was timed well; just as he heard this, he and Rose were announced the king and queen! It was really sweet of him to save Rose at the cost of his feelings, but I know there was a way he could've ssaved her and her memories, but he knew she'd probably have been happier living with her parents for her whole life. Jake looked so sad when he broke those skulls; his voice reminded me of Prince Zuko from Avatar (they have the same voice actor). It hurt me a bit to see Rose not knowing Jake at all, the guy she loved, and who loved her back. It made it worse that she moved away and Jake would never be able to see her again, but at least she's not there as a constant reminder to him. Its good to see Jake moving on.

The ending made my heart a bit heavy, but it was a great way to end the arc. The episode stuck with me for a while, which is kind of a good thing. At least the creators were able to make a good ending even with Disney's limitations. Still, it would've made it more interesting if Sun Park had died, but the episode still worked. Oh, yeah, that thing between Trixie and Spud was pretty funny. I wanted to see what would've happened if they'd gotten together, and I did. I'm glad that they're staying just friends.

It's time for the Homecoming Dance at Filmore Middle School.

Rose and Jake are nominated for Homecoming King and Queen. Jake is excited, but it seems that rose is worried about the Huntsman realizing that she is in love with the American Dragon. The Huntsman finds out about Jake and Rose. He blackmails Rose, and he threatens tokill her parents if she does lead the Huntsman to the American Dragon. At the dance, the huntsclan attacks. They fight and the Huntsman arranges the Aztec skulls. As he stasnds holding the 13th skull, he says,"By The Panthon Of Aztec Skulls I Hearby Wish For The Destruction Of All.....". He is knocked out of the way by rose who grabs the skull and says "..... For The Destruction Of All Huntsclan!" The huntsclan marks glow green and they start lifting into the sky. Jake grabs Rose's hand, but she tells him to let go. He lets go, and while seeing lifted into the sky he grabs the skulls and says, "I Wish That Rose Was Never Takin By The Huntsclan."Jake gets his wish, and Rose is never taken. Instead, she lives life with her parents but without Jake. Rose loses her memory of Jake and of all they have been through together. The huntsclan is gone though as all wishes made my the skulls are irreversable

See, American Dragon can make great episodes. I am a fan of the show and this is my absolute fave. It had great action just like it always had. It had drama that you barely see in the show but it was excellent. It wanted to make you cry seeing what happen to Rose and how Jake reacted to it. The lines were great and delivered well. I like the music too. The thing between Trixie and Spud was hilarious. Cough, cough, kiss, dark room. Rose sacrifices a lot for everyone and so does Jake. Thanks creators for great episode!

this episode is definitely one of the best i have ever seen from this series. it was painful to watch after fu dog called jake and told him that the huntsclan had stolen the last of the skulls and that rose ( jakes true love ) had lead the huntsman there, even though she was supposably on jakes side. just as fu dog tells jake of rose's treachery, sun park, jakes home economics teacher announces that jake and rose were named homecoming queen and king. rose and the rest of the huntsclan then come to where the homecoming dance is to use the skulls power in the one place the skulls can be activated ( which happens to be where the dance is) they have a big fight, resulting in the huntsclan winning. as the huntsman activates the skulls, he wishes for the destruction of all magical creatures. before finishing his command, rose blasts him out of the way and wishes instead for the destruction of all huntsclan members, including herself. as the huntsclan members begin to disappear into infinity, jake makes one last wish using the skull's power. he wishes for rose to have a normal life and that she was never taken from the huntsclan. she then disappears, and out of rage jake smashes the skull on the ground. he dragons up and flys into the night.

the scene then cuts to the next day at school where trixie, spud and jake are talking. jake states that as long as rose is happy, he is happy. as they leave the school building, jake bumps into rose, much like the way they met at the beginning of the series. she says that he looks familiar but says goodbye quickly as her parents pull up in thier car. jake then says that they will see each other around, but rose replies that she will not see him because her father got a job in hong kong and that they were leaving that night. as her car pulls away, jake smiles.

Oh my god! This is an epic, suspenseful, dramatic, earth shattering, heart stopping and tear jerking episode! The Huntsclan is destroyed forever, and if you ask me, it was pretty spooky. Rose betrays Jake, but then betrays the Huntsclan. This episode is exactly why I watch and is obsessed with the show and why Disney is stupid for canceling it. Dante Basco and Mae Whitman deserve praise for this episode. This is impressive and Matt Negrete has done a fine job. A fine fine job. Kudos to Matt, Eddie, Dante, Mae, Jeff and the rest of the cast and crew for making this the best episode of the second season.

This episode was truly awesome. If I wasn't alone in my home I would honestly cry by the touching, yet sad ending. I felt very sad and suspensed when the episode was over. I just wanted something even more. Even if I know that they get back together later (a TV series like this just can't end without a happy ending).

But all the surprises on the episode where even more suspensing. If I had the ability, I would see the whole series from the start of the first to the end of the second season. This is one of the main reasons they musn't stop it.
  • I was in aw the whole episode.

This whole episode was just purely awesome. A lot of things happened in this episode, the Huntsclan found out that Rose was working with Jake. Trixie and Spud kissed, The Huntsclan was demolished. Jake wished Rose never joined the Huntsclan, and we found out in the end that Rose was going to Hong Kong. This episode was just amazing.

For every ADJL fan, this episode was very anticipated. It would mark a great deal in the J/R deal. The episode starts where Spud has a plan to "kissy kissy" Stacey. A little mix up happens, and SPud accidentally kisses Trixie. Later on, Jake runs into Rose, and they talk about Homecoming. Then, Rose leads Jake to the last skull. During the battle, Jake and Rose talk about Homecoming, unknown to them that they were being watched by a camera. Once he gets the skull, Rose agrees to go to homecoming with Jake. The huntsmaster then finds out Rose betrayed him, and makes hwr get the skulls, in exchanged for her parents. Once she gets the skulls, the huntsclan, along with Rose, go to the Pantheon building, which is both where the dance is held and the skulls must be inserted. Jake and his friends battle the huntclan, while Rose battles Jake. Once the skulls are ready, Rose ties Jake up, and the huntsmaster gets ready to wish. Rose shoots him in the back and then wishes for the destruction of the hunstclan. Before Rose is destroyed, Jake wishes she was never taken by the huntsclan. In the end, Jake stumbles into Rose, or as many people may believe, her twin(which is impossible, due to her birthmark). Rose, who no longer remembers Jake, does ask if she knows him. Jakes says no, and ass if he'll see her around. Rose says no, as she is moving the Hong Kong the next day.

That is the great epdisode "Homecoming", I give it a 10
  • When Jake is at the homecoming dance, he finds out that Rose led the Huntsman to the three Aztec skulls that Jake had. When the Huntsclan find the roof, a battle starts. Rose destroyes the Huntsclan and Jake wishes Rose was never taken by the Huntsclan.

This is my absolute favorite episode of the series. Every part was just great. When Jake found out that Rose had led the Huntsman to the three skulls he had, he was both shocked and sad. I bet he wishes he didn't hear that. When Sun announced Jake and Rose as king and queen, that added to his disappointment. When he knocked of the Huntsman's mask, I didn't think he would really look like that. I just love the battle between the dragons and the Huntsclan. I have to admit, it was just the tiniest bit difficult to watch the part after Rose made her wish. After Jake made his wish that Rose was never taken by the Huntsclan, I had a question: Is the Huntsclan gone for good? Thanks to an article I found, they are gone. To wrap this review up, I will do what another show does, and give ratings out of five. I give this episode a five out of five for the action, the little bit of romance, and the sort of cliffhanger ending.
