  • Jake accidentally shows Trixie and Spud that he is a dragon!

    9.2
    "Superb"
I think this was an awesome episode, because Trixie and Spud now know that Jake is a dragon, and from that episode on they help him in his dragon duties, I think it was about time that Trixie and Spud knew it, because it was a bit of boring that Jake always had to hide it to them.

And also to see how Trixie Freaks out with Fu the talking dog is very funny and also that Mr. Rotwood now thinks that Jake is a dragon is very interesting for the plot of the series.

So I can only say that this was a really good episode of ADJL!
  • never watching this episode again!

One night, Professor Rotwood manages to take a blurred photograph of Jake and Huntsgirl fighting, so at mythology class the next day, he gives out fliers so he can get physical evidence for the magical creature in New York City and he offers a $500 reward and Jake takes it up so they can replace Trixie's parents' anniversary gift that they broke. Unfortunately, the pictures, scales, and claws he submitted were submitted as fake. On his way home, Huntsgirl and Jake come across each other and she knocks Jake out toward a building and while the two come find him, they decide to take him to Rotwood and get double the award for bringing a full flesh dragon, but when they are in Jake's room they find pictures of him 'dragoning up' and while in dragon form. Now they realize that their best friend is their reward, they go to Rotwood's residence to get him back before his secret is revealed. who in the world would watch this junk?
  • Professor Rotwood nearly exposes Jake's secret. Jake's friends find out that Jake is a dragon.

This episode is very revealing. As you can see on the summary, Jake's friends find out Jake is a dragon, and, not only that but Jake's mythical creatures teacher manages to bribe Jake into taking pictures of himself "dragoning up"! Jake gets put in a cage and then is nearly exposed by his teacher Professor Rotwood. Then, though, Jake's friends unexpectenly save Jake and end up putting Professor Rotwood in jail. So as you can see this is why I think this episode is revealing. It showed us some major things like one of Jake's enemies and his friends figure out he's a dragon. Overall, 9.6 this episode was fantastic.
  • *Major Spoilers* This episode made me stay on for the first season. (I have watched it more ever since the second season premere.)

The plotline was not much, but it told me that the show would change overtime. You see, when I try to watch new TV shows, I need to see if they have one thing. Continuity. I am talking about character development, adding new characters for reasons that do not involve falling popularity, mistakes that will affect the rest of the series, and sometimes, major character deaths. (not that will see it on Disney Channel) "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel" are perfect examples of this. When the show first started, Spud and Trixie did not know about Jake's secret idendity. However, I did rember see a trailer of Jake's dragon form falling in front of Trixie and Spud. I waited to see that scene and sure enough, it was in this episode. I was a little concerned that Jake would actually use the mind-erace potion on his friends and therefore, be like most animated shows that always try to keep the status-quo. However, once he poured it into the plant insted of their drinks, I knew that this was the kind of show for me. Spud and Trixie are now part of Jake's team. There was even an episode that focused on them and Fu Dog watching over the shop while Jake and Gramps were on vacation.

i really liked this episode. i thought professer rotwood was halairous in this one with the stuff he thought about dragons it had me laughing up a storm! i also liked that trixy and spud found out that jake was a dragon, tho i didnt like that they accepted it so easy it was like they saw dragons every day, but im glad they know and that jake didnt mak them forget, it should make it a little more interesting
  • Jake accedentily ends up revealing to him Trixie and Spud!

For some reason I like shows that have characters that have secrets, like huge ones! For example Danny Phantom, American Dragon: Jake Long, Hannah Montana, etc. I like this episode because he ends up revealing himself to Trixie and Spud! This is my favorite of the old episodes! I like this one and the one when he finds out Rose\\\'s secret, and when he reveals his secret to Rose! But I cannot ait to see the new episodes when he looks different and newer! American Dragon is a good show the creator did a good job! The creator must have a good imagination!
  • Trixie and Spud finally find out that Jake is a dragon!

This episode is one of the best! It was so sad that Trixie and Spud found Jake and turned him in, and then found out what they did. It was also sad when Professor Rotwood wouldn't return him. But I laughed hard when Rotwood said something like, "Dragons don't breathe fire," and then Jake caught him on fire. Haha, this episode was great!
  • Trixie and Spud find out about Jake being a dragon just as jake is being kidnapped by Rotwood.

This is my favorite episode. Spud and Trixie were especially funny in this episode. Plus Spud and Trixie fine out about Jake being a dragon. I was hoping that would happen. Now all there needs to be is Jake and Rose finding out eachother's secrets and then this show would be perfect! *thinks of the Hunted* oh yeah! *waits to see it*

i think this episode that is the best (proffesor rottwoods thiesis)its got a good story line and its funny espeicially spud and the lasagne is funny. this episode is like spiderman and lloyd in space because in an episode i saw in lloyd in space the little sister swaps bodies with lloyd and llyod teases his sister and when swaps they find out how hard it is being each other its kind of the same cause they both have the same quote in it saying: hes slept with his night light evver since he was two
  • An episode where Trixie and Spud find out about Jake being a dragon and they must find a way to get him back before his secret is revealed to the world.

This is a type of episode that shows the friendship between Jake, Trixie, and Spud. I mean, you know Trixie and Spud show really deep concern about Jake. No matter what he was, they didn't care. Besides the hilarious quotes, it also shows how trustworthy Trixie and Spud are about Jake. After all the money they got from Rotwood, they gave it all up for a taxi driver just to get to the institution where Jake is about to be revelaed to the world. I don't think I would've ever been that caring and thoughtful about my friends. This show has very great charater development and besides the values and qualities of friendship, they also show humor in the show.
