American Dragon: Jake Long

Jake has to go undercover as a goblin that he, lao shi and Fu captured. The Goblin was going to pick up an orb from the Huntsman, so Jake is given a shape shifting potion so he can transfrom into the goblin when meeting with the Huntsclan.

So, up until maybe the first add break, it was extremely hilarious and had me rolling on the floor laughing. But after the parent teacher conference with Rotwood, which was so f***ing hilarious, it got a bit boring. I mean, all that happened was him getting captured and then lao Shi and Fu coming to rescue him. So pointless. (But I had to give it a desent score cos it's ADJL.) And the bit where he shape shifted into Tommy King was soooo lame, even lamer than the Jaren Mcarther bit. So, if you're ino silly shows, watch shape shifter. If you're not. Don't.

Jake has a parent teacher conference with Professor Rotwood, and he learns that all dragons have natural shape-shifting powers. Fu Dog gives him a potion that lets him tap into that ability in order for Jake to impersonate a goblin named Ralph who is working with the Huntsman in order to find out the Huntsman plans. However Jake abuses his powers to fool people and when he overuses his powers, he loses control of them when he impersonates Ralph and is captured by the Huntsclan. How is he going to escape now? i think there was nothing good about this episode.

Jake, Gramps, and Fu learn that the Huntsclan are going swap the feared Orb of Malorphus with Ralph the goblin. Fu reveals that Jake can become a shapeshifter for 24 hours with the help of a potion but, the more he uses the powers, the sooner they'll begin to fail. So the heroes kidnap Ralph and put Jake in his place, only to learn that the exchange will be pushed back to the next day.



So there's Jake, with 24 hours worth of shapeshifting abilities, and plenty of tempting opportunites to use it. As I'm sure you can guess, he blows his powers on all these trivial things and they end up failing him when he needs them most.



This episode is crap. The dialogue is painful with flat jokes, the action ridiculously choreographed, and the story, while nicely structured, is obvious and boring. If only they had focussed on the Orb and its powers, rather than the tedious string of shapeshifting gags.

this was a pretty good episode, i loved the way he turned in to that music star and then had to sing ha ha ha ha he sounded horibale! and at the parent teacher confrance pretty funny, also his friend saw him but unfortunaly he just thouoght he was crazy. the ending was good tho i was afraid they would find out who he was luckly fo dog came. so over all this was a good episode.

This was an adventurous episode!!! Jake is given a potion by Granpa and Fu dog to fool the Huntsclan. This episode was funny and very well-written and thought-of. The Huntsman wants to know Jake's human indenity. But, at the scene where Jake is chained to the wall of the warehouse and he is slowly turning back to his human form before and after Fu came to Jake's rescue to turn off the lights. wouldn't Rose or the Huntsman look closer at him to find out? Wouldn't Rose reconize his shorts and shoes? Surley not. It was funny to see how easilly Jake fooled his parents at Rotwood's parent teacher conference. It was hilarious when Jake made a fool out of Rotwood when he turned into his form at the parent teacher conference. It was hilarious when he messed around by turning into other people he know and mooking them whn he should use his special gift for other wiser purposes. Well, thats just Jake. If I had that power, I would do the same....

This episode was great. It was fun watching Jake be a lot of different characters. I laughed when he started singing at school. That one character was funny when she kept saying "I LOVE YOU!" Tje end was good when Jake found out that he missused his spell and was captured.
