American Dragon: Jake Long

This was one of the best episodes there was in the series but it didn't really seem like that Rose moving would have been the best plot back in Homecoming. However this episode shows that they were still able to make a great "series" finale from it. So this episode is basically where Jake, Gramps, Jonathan, Susan, Fu, Spud, Trixie and Haley all go to Hong-Kong on vacation, But Gramps is kidnapped and Jake must figure out a way to save him. Jake also remembers that Rose is in Hong-Kong and it is great of how they were able to tie Rose back into the show. I'm not going to spoil the ending, but although this wasn't the best episode to be the "series" finale it was a great episode nonetheless.

I honestly admit that it was awesome! Dark dragon is back and Gramps is captured and Jake needs to put a mind control potion into the meeting of all the dragons in the world and in order to defeat the Dark dragon he must find someone who is more experienced on fighting dragons and that would be Rose and he tries to regain her memory but fails but he leaves his picture with rose in her apartment, thus making rose remember and help him, meanwhile Jake's dad finds out the truth and it all leaves to a happy ending.



It was really Rushed it all happened in one night and what happened to Jake and Rose in the end? were they reunited? it just doesn't summarized everything but it was a good ending

The episode was the pinnacle of the American dragon series. The role of all charecters were fine. I was quite antisipating Roses return. The selection of the #1 most greatest threat to the magical world(dark dragon) as the final villian was awsome. Ever since i read about the summary in wikipedia i was waiting for its rerun(i missed the first airring of all episodes). Its really a great episode.Althogh the ending and length of the episode dissapointed me.Its still a great finnale. Without a doubt(for me)it is the best american dragon : jake long episode in any way or in any day.

This episode would be good for a season finale, but as a series finale, it was just weak. The plot was not written believable enough, too many facts were squeezed into this one episode. I must admit, I enjoyed some of these facts like Jake's dad finally becoming aware that he married into a family of dragons and the return of Rose. Unfortunately there will be no ongoing plot of these new plot changes due to the fact that Disney ended the series. These changes would have been perfect to segue into a new season, though this did and will not happen. Jake's new life will no longer be explored upon by Disney.

Okay, dont kill me for giving it a low score. Firstly, it was brilliant to see Rose again and see how much she'd changed since she never met Jake. It was tear-jerking when he got taken away by the police and he was calling for Rose to remember him. THe idea with the DD was good aswell.



But, this episode was probably one of the most flawed yet. First of all, hardly any reaction to the magical family of dragons fiasco. Second, Rose's parents just stood there in the apartment like statues while Rose did all the talknig, poor girl. Third, where the heck is her twin? Oh sorry, Disney was so impaitiant to get it out, they forgot all the basic things to make a good season finale.



This show really needs a third season, or this episode needs to be revised.

OH series finale not as good as I expected though . Still the story moves al little too fast ! Okay , too FAST ! Jake'sdad learned about his family secret , and then Rose remember that she was Huntsgirl and the DD is gone forever . If you mix that up , you 'll get a no good ending at all . But since this is my favorite show ,I'll give it a 9 lol This is still not the end , not yet . We can and we will save the AmDrag , Together we can do anything and anything is possible

this was a great episode as well as a great way to end american dragon jake long. the idea of the longs going to hong kong was great, as we see rose again after herlife was "reversed" and she was a part of her real family. i loved seeing how rose actually somewhat remembered jake. i always loved the idea of those two together :) i also liked how jonathan was fianlly able to learn that his family was dragons. and i love how he reacts to everything. overall, this episode was amazing and we all loved to see the end of this series get a fantastic episode that it so very deserved.

Hong Kong Longs is about the family Long having a vaction at Hong Kong. They came them just in time for the meeting of the dragon coucil. The Dark Dragon tried to ruin the meeting by kidnapping Lao Shi.



Haley and Susan must tell Jonathan that they are long generations of dragons. They told him the existence of magical creatures.



Meanwhile, Jake tries to convince Rose her real identity being a huntsgirl. A photo will help her remember everything. I can't understand why a photo made Rose remember everything. Disney rushed its production and I don't like the ending so they should make season 3 for it to complete the story. I didn't even understand what Jake told his father that there's also something magical within him.



With the help of the Longs, they defeated the Dark Dragons and didn't betray the Dragon council. Now, Jonathan lives with the family of dragons.

This ep pretty much has everything and in my book is second only to Homecoming. It has Jake/Rose romance (they kissed), it deals with Jake and his dad and him finally finding out the big family secret, and it has some great comedy. But that doesn't take away from the drama. There was plenty of it. Jake supposedly betraying the magical world, Rose almost being trapped for 1,000 years, Jonathan finding out his daughter is "some kind of pink flying reptile", and the fact that Jake is willing to do anything and risk it all to save Rose stunned me. In ways it reminds me of the academy. But it is certainly not the last we will see of our beloved ADJL. But a very fitting season finale.

When watching this episode, it was so thrilling and emotional which is an aspect this cartoon is good at. I mean how Rose somehow remmebers Jake but still has to do something that just seems wrong to her yet right to her at the same time. And how Rose just makes a nice comeback to the show and back in action to fight the dark dragon when she was needed the most. Yet it was so emotional when Jake said that he was not going to lose Rose again. Once again, Rose insisted him to let her go but he did not. Even though so much was said and done in a 30 minute episode it would have been so much better if it could have been an hour long! Oh my gosh.

This is all I can say about this. After all, for the time being, this is the seris finale of my favorite-ever show. I am confident that I will never find a show that affects me like American Dragon: Jake Long has, and so the words that come to mind when I think of this are, initially, are ohmygosh.



But this episode is much more than those three words. So many wonderful things happened in this episode,yet,for every good thing, another question opened. For instance, after Rose and Jake kiss, the next scene shows Jake and his family entering their hotel room. WhAT ThE HeCk HaPpEnS tO RoSe?!?! After all, now she's got memories of a very different parrelel universe, and, most important, she remembers Jake. So what, now Jake's going back to NY, Rose is staying in Hong Kong, and...? Everything just ends for them? Hello, but not good enough for us, Disney. I understand, fully well, that the writers hope for a third season just as much as we do, and so they are leaving points open to start a possible third season with, but we don't like DC right now, and it's fun to blame them. And, and and...so many other things that are hard to put in to words. There were many touching scenes in this episode. For instance, when Rose and Jake come together in the end, and when Jake and his dad hug in the end. And I loved the confrontion scene between Jake and Rose. "Ok, I'm officialy freaked out." That was a humorous scene that I loves. And I love the credits-the clips of hilarious moments from the 2nd season. It made everything end on a good note. And, as good as this episode was, it could all get better. Please, Disney Channel, understand that this is very important to us, and we want to continue watching this show. Please, please, please. This is all we can ask for. Please, please, please.

Jake, his family, and his friends, are in Hong Kong. There, the Dark Dragon and Chang kidnap him and give Jake a mind-control filter so he gives it to the dragon council that happens every 1000 years on a moon eclipse which was going to happen in that days. After finding out that Jonathan had a magical book which showed magical places in Hong Kong, the magical restaurant was the perfect place for Jake, Trixie, Spud and Fu Dog to plan what to do. The funniest bit there was when Jonathan drank transformation tea and got a tail and some other stuff. While Spud and Trixie found some weapons in an old Huntsclan lair (Which Jonathan thought was a museum and pressed the self-destruction button - oh, silly Jonathan) Jake found Rose. He told her everything but she wouldn't believe him. He asks her to go somewhere private so he can transform into a dragon. She calls home to see if her parents are there. When they went to hey home, Jake threw his jacket to a couch to be surprised to see Rose, her parents...

And cops. They "bust" him and take him to a police car. As the car drives, he dragon up's and leaves the car from the roof.

So, he gets to the council. When he holds the cup, he should put the potion into, he slips inside some of the potion's drops and serves it to everyone. Then, they have a porposal, and they drink. Suddendly, the Dark Dragon, Chang and the monkey appear. They tell the council about how Jake slipped in the potion, and then the Dark Dragon told the Korean dragon to kill another dragon. Sun tried to keep herself, but suddendly, everyone turned into weird stuff. "What's the meaning of this!?" Well, it looks like Jake slipped in some transformation tea! While, back in the hotel, Jonathan sees Haley in her dragon form. He faints, and after he wakes up they tell him everything. Then they decided to go to the council to help Jake. When they were there, everyone was fighting with the Dark Dragon. Jonathan killed some of Dark Dragon's "Shadow Demons" with a camera's flash, and using the bowl Jake put the filter on, which had shiny stuff everywhere around it, and the light made the Demons go crazy and dissapear. Then, the Dark Dragon goes all like "You fools! You don't know my powers!" They say that he's right, and that only a Dragon Slayer could kill him. Then out of blue, Rose, dressed as Huntsgirl, appears out of nowhere and starts to fight with him! Then, the council's place starts to dissapear, as the moon eclipse ends. Everyone gets out, but Rose is stuck fighting with the Dark Dragon. Jake decides to go in and help her. He gets her out of the place that she was stuck and as they where leaving and DD was sucking into the vortex, Rose cut his leg with her huntsclan thing and the Dark Dragon got sucked in. At the last moment, they got out of the vortex. They kissed, and then Jake asked Rose how she remember. Surpriiise! He left their photo of the bowl in his jacket!

And, in the end, when Jake and Jonathan go to the room, they chat about something and then the episode ends...

Epic.

I was soo sad when I tuned into Hong Kong Longs. Very nice episode, but oh so with the rushing. Let's face it if this really was the Amdrags FINAL episode. It SHOULD have gotten a full hour. Good parts though were Johnathan and Rose coming back. Expanding on this a little further. Well, Rose coming back into the picture was not at all rushed. It went at a nice normal pace. The whole "Stalking" thing was Hilarous! I STILL wonder what's wrong with Disney letting go of such a great cartoon just to give the time and production to a horrid show such as Phineas and Ferb. Rose and Jake's life needs to be more explained. Like for instance, what happened to her twin sis? Did she vanish into thin air? Did SHE get taken instead of Rose? We will never know the answer unless Disney gives us a third season. Heck I would be happy with a movie. A theatrical one if they ever could? Being a full supporter of Rose and Jake. I was SO happy to see another kiss in the very ending of this. Even my mother thought it was far from being finshed. There are soo many more possiblities for Jake and Rose. Such as Fury, she escaped and we have yet to ever hear about her capture, if she did get captured that is.. Chang also could come back in the third season.. All in all I think Disney should very much continue this series. It just hasn't come to a close. HKL was a bit of a singe of dissapointment as I watched it. It just didn't have the za za zuu that Homecoming carried. So I'll be waiting faithfully for the nest season.

Hong kong longs starts with Jake and his parents left new-york for hong kong on vacation.

The vacation went well till Chang and Banana's B and the Dark Dragon show up and kidnap Jakes Grandpa!

The Dark Dragon wants to controll the Dragon council so he can take over the world and let Jake Help him but Jake Refused!

Will the Dark Dragon Kill his grandpa or will Grandpa be alive?

Or will Jake be smart enough to make an other plan so the Dark Dragon's plan fails?

Off course Jake finds a way and saves his grandpa and the council and the world!The End

It's hard to believe this was the series finale. I feel sad, but I'm glad it ended with a good episode. I kind of felt that it was rushed in some parts, but other than that, it was good. I'm glad Jake's dad finally found out about the family secret. It was funny how he passed out when Fu started talking to him. I also liked how he started asking all sorts of questions about what was real. He even asked if Santa Claus was real. That just about had me on the floor rolling. I wish there was more Rose/Jake dialogue. One minute, Rose doesn't believe him and thinks he's crazy, and the next minute she believes him and is helping him fight the Dark Dragon. It was cute how she kissed him in the end. It was also sweet how Jake fought off his grandpa and his family so he could go back into the temple to save Rose and bring her back. One of my favorite scenes was at the beginning when Jake, Spud, and Trixie are skating after the Dark Dragon's helper and Grandpa. It was cool how they dodged the falling crates and skated on them as if they were ramps. Another good scene was when Rose was fighting the Dark Dragon at the end of the episode. That had to be one of the best fighting scenes of the series. The ending was sweet. Jake's dad said he always knew there was something magical about his family and then Jake gave him a great big hug and said there was something magical about him.

I really liked this episode. The dark dragon came back and Mr. Long finally realized his family was actually comprised of fire-breathing reptiles. And Rose gets her memory back.



But it was rushed. Too Rushed. My brother even noted the characters were talking a little faster than usual. And I would want more of Rose getting her memory back, like hse looks at the photo and realizes "that kid looks familiar" and then her memory slowly comes back, enough for her to realize "Jake's in trouble!" And the fighting scene with the Dark Dragon was rushed as well.



Also, I seemed to notice that the Dark Dragon's voice has changed slihtly. When I watched Hong Kong Nights, it was deeper and like some of the villainous roles Clancy Brown has done (Long Feng in Avatar to be exact) and in this episode, it was villainous alright, but you could notice a difference.



But all and all, this was a sufficent finale. Better than the proposed finale for the Fairly Odd Parents, but not like other finales such as Phantom Planet (Danny Phantom) or So The Drama. But I was entertained and hope that amdra gets what it deserves, a third season.

what an episode. it wasn't boring in the least, the whole time i was on the edge of my seat, bouncing up and down from the excitement.



what i love about this episode- well for starters, it wraps up the two main storylines of the series- Dark Dragon (loved seeing him fall down a vortex) and the huntsclan/rose



anyways, when the show starts out, jake trixie spud haley jakes mom and "daughters husband" are all in Hong Kong.



and jake is already thinking about Rose.....unfortunately the happy life he wished for her doesn't include him. however, the next day, Chang makes her move, seizing Loa Shi, and the Dark Dragon (man is he overweight) blackmails jake.



so they try to figure out a plan to defeat dark dragon, but fear that he is too powerful for the dragons.

what they need, is a dragon slayer.............

and who better for the job, then one who is born with the mark of the huntsclan, a natural dragon slayer.......



so jake goes to find rose, and the tension heats up, cause Rose doesn't remember jake in the slightest. after being stalked by him, she finally leads him to her apartment, where her parents call the cops.

poor jake.......



so jake realizes it is too late, he must go to the temple without her.....jake slips the council transformation tea, rather than the mind control potion, and the battle begins.



but none can challenge the dark dragon, none except........rose (or should we say, huntsgirl?) cause she is back in action, having a giant kung fu battle with dark dragon. but the temple is disappearing, everyone gets out! everyone......except dark dragon and rose.......but jake is not going to lose her again, so he goes back to help her...



dark dragon is going to have some final fun though, with a claw he grabs onto jake and rose, but before they are pulled into the vortex rose slashes the claw, and they get out safely!



and, as we were all waiting for, they kiss.....



what a great ending to the show.



is it enough of an ending? debatable, it wraps things up nicely but leaves opportunities open to third season.....



so to whereever the show goes from here, i think we can agree American Dragon: Jake Long is a show that deserves saving!

I swear...this is soo awesome!!!!! I am so angry that they cancelled Jake Long, but I am glad they could end it like this!!!



I love how Jonathan kept asking questions at the end, Lol. And I love how Sun was in this episode...



The only thing I didn't really like about it. Is that they had to rush through everything...but that's not their fault. I'm pretty sure that if they could make this episode an hour, they would have.



And also, the last line Jake said to his father, that was pretty lame. xDD But the rest was awesome.



I especially love the ending, where they showed all the featured times we had had with Amdrag. I really hope they do give it a third season...but at least I know, the last episode of the second season was awesome!!

the eppidode starts out immediately with jake and his family entering a hotel room. adn of course trixie and spud are with them too. they are in hong kong and are spending their vacation sight seeing and getting to know the mom's side of the family better, as far as the dad knows. but their real reason for going to hong kong is not that simple. the grandpa and foo explain to jake that every 1000 years, every dragon in the world meets in hong kong on top of a specific mountain for a special dragon councel. they meet on top of the mountain because also evey 1000 years, there is a lunar eclipse whitch causes a magical temple to appear for as long as the eclipse lasts. and in this temple the dragons share a toast to peace for eachother. (or something like that) now of course with jake being in Hong Kong, he knows that he cant pass up the opportunity to look for rose. but he cant leave that night so he plans to find her the next day.



so the next day comes and the family is walking in the market sight seeing. and all too fast the evil lady and her monkey side kick (sorry i dont remember their names) ride past and kidnap the grandpa in a magical resistant net. somehow no one else saw this happen, the people around simply think that a fast cart just rode by and let it pass. so jake trixie and spud race to the aide or the grandpa right into a trap. the dark dragon appears in the deserted building and he and jake fight a bit, but clearly jake is no match, so the dark dragon makes a deal with him. he gives jake a magic potion to put in all of the other dragons cups. he tells him that it is a mind control potion and that if he doesnt do the dark task, he would kill his grandpa. and with that they disappear and jake, trixie adn spud are left in the building. the next scene takes place at a magical restraunt where jake and his gang discuss what they are going to do about the grandpa. the mom and dad are in a separate booth and the dad is oblivious to the magical creatures adn especially to the morphing drink that he takes. he grows big animal ears and a tail but somehow doesnt notice this. then he changes back later.



Apparently dragons dont really have any experiance fighting other dragons, so even with every dragon in the world all together, they would not be able to defeat the dark dragon. so jake remembers rose and how she has experiance fighting dragons that she doesnt remember. he is convinced that she will remember when she sees him. so jake flies off to find rose. when he finds her, he (once again: all to fast) immediately says her name. she turns around confused that he knows her, and then he tells her everything! everything about her, and his wish for her to be free, and how she was a dragon slayer and he is a dragon. and seriously, what did he expect. she then calls someone on her phone and they leave for her house. when they get to her appartment, he takes off his jacket and throws it on her couch. a picture of rose and jake at the dance falls out of its pocket and he turns around to see her with her parents. she thinks he is crazy so she says that she can find help for him to get rid of his problem. (maybe she thought he had a mental disorder) so he backs up and says that he can prove hes not crazy adn he starts; Drangon U... and he backs into the police. they take him away in their car but he changes into a dragon and leaves. but he realizes too late that the eclipse already started.



Meanwhile, while all of the rose stuff was happening, trixie spud foo and the parents are in an abandoned hunts clan building looking for things that could help defeat the dark dragon. the dad, thinking that they are in a museum walks obliviously through the dangarous place. they find some weapons and leave right before the building self destructs. they go back to the hotel room and the dad leaves the room briefly. everyone talks about what they have to do and they inform the mom about whats going on too. haley gets a little too excited to fight and she chages into a dragon to "practice her fight moves" but unknowingly her dad walked in at just the right moment and witnessed the transformation. he studderes a little as he tries to sort out what he saw in his head, and faints. when he awakes the mom explaines about her side of the family. then foo talks to him and of course he freaks out then too. but he shakes off the confusion when he realizes that jake is not there. he immediately gets up and says to explain everything on the way. (wow he took that better then i thought he would) the scene changes to reveal jake arriving in the center of the temple where all of the dragons are waiting for him and his grandpa. they ask where the grandpa is and he makes up an excuse as to why he will be late. jake offers to make up for his tardiness by pouring the drink in the pitcher and pour it for everyone there he goes behind the council and pulls out the potion and pours it into the goblet. and then hangs his head in shame. after all the dragons have their drinks poured the council proposes a toast; and they all drink, except for jake who dumps it to the side of himself. the dark dragon shows up and maniacally laughs (whitch by the way is so cleque' according to spud) adn he announces what jake has done to them and declares that he has complete control over all of the dragons when he commands them to do so. jake explains that he had no choice and then the dark dragon tries out his new mind control powers. he commands sun to attack another dragon but is surprised that she instead grows animal ears and tail. then simultaneously, all of the other dragons start changing into animals. and thats when the rest of the gang shows up. they help free the grandpa and all of the dragons fight the dark dragon. eventually they know they are out matched and start to fall back. then out of no where rose shows up and attacks the dark dragon; weakeing him for a second. she and jake kiss and then continue to fight.



the eclipse is ending and the dragons know that they must leave the temple before that happens or they will be trapped there for 1000 years. everyone gets out except for the dark dragon, (which is what they were going for) and then jake spots rose still fighting him. he races to get her but is stopped by his grandpa who tells him to just let her go or he will be trapped there too. (now that appalls me to think that the grandpa doesnt care about rose.if she were to be trapped there with the dark dragon, she would either be killed by him, or starve to death. how horrible) so anyway, jake refuses to listen and goes to save her anyway. he gets to her and helps her out of the fallen rubble and gets her out of there at the last moment possible and the temple gets sucked away in a purple/blue vortex of doom. they have a moment together where she explains that he left his jacket at her appartment and she saw the picture and remembered everything. they share one moment of staring into eacothers eyes under the full moon adn then it is over. and we never figure out what happenes to her after that moment. they get back to the hotel and the dad talks to jake and says that he always knew that there was something magical about his own family and they hug. (during credits) they show flash backs of a lot of previous eppisodes indicating, or telling us, that this is the final eppisode, in their own way.

This better not ending up being the series finale. Way too many questions were left unanswered and it was all too rushed. I will never again watch Disney Channel unless they renew the show. We still need more episodes. It's a necessity. They can not end the show like this.



Everything was too rushed. Rose just got her memory back by a picture? There needs to be more of Rose getting all of her memory back, and Jonathan, we didn't even get to see a real reaction. He just helped them defeat DD and then he said that he wanted to spend more time with his family. Chang and Banana's are still on the loose and so is Fury and Pandarus and there are too many things we need to see more of and get more filled up upon.



At this point, Disney Channel doesn't exist anymore to me and I hope they get what they deserve. I beg to god that we are able to save the show.



Before you get angry that my score is so low, just know that if the show gets renewed, my score will most likely go up to a higher 8 or even a 9.

If the Dragons flame that burns in every fan's heart was going out before, Hong Kong Longs will set it ablaze again. This episode reminds us all why we love the American Dragon and leaves us yearning for more. In the episode Jonathan Long discovers his family secret when Haley inadvertently Dragons up in front of him



Lao Shi is captured by the Dark Dragon and Chang, Jake is forced to choose: His Grandfather, or the Dragons of the world. This choice had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.



To help with the oncoming battle for his grandfather, Jake enlists Rose, his former lover in another timeline. Rose calls the Hong Kong police to deal with the delusional boy and Jake escapes them. In the end though, Rose discovers the truth and comes to Jake's Aid



All in all I think this episode could make a very good, acceptable series finale, but the part I like about it most is that it doesn't have to. Sure Jake's father knows the truth and the Dark Dragon is gone, but Rose lives and remembers everything, and former councilor Chang is not necessarily out of the picture. The writers have given themselves an opening for a third season, I only hope they are given the chance to follow through with it.

this is my favorite epsiode, mainly because it contains the last part of the relationship with rose and jake. so it starts out in hong kong, the longs, plus trixie and spud, are vacationing in hong kong. so, they all check out the room, and soon jakes dad starts ranting off about all the sites they are going to see. then, jake learns he has to go to a meeting taking place every 1000 years, mandatory for every dragon(which, by the way, shows that there arnt many dragons in the world). so then we cut to the morning, and we find jakes dad has a magical book, which he think is a "sight seeing book". right after, grandpa is captured by chang, and jake, trixie and spud try and catch them. they are led into a trap, where they find the dark dragon has come back to life, and is extremely powerful now. he tells jake to put a mind control potion into everyones drinks. jake then tries to find rose and get her to help slay the black dragon. so, he locates roses school, and tells her the parallel universe which used to be. of course, she doesnt believe him. after an hour or so, she decides to let him come show her at her house. its a trap, and jake is hauled away in a police car, leaving behind his jacket and a photo of him and rose. of course, dragon powers gets him out of the police vehicle. meanwhile, everyone else is at the hotel, when jakes dad goes to get some ice. when hes gone, haley goes to dragon up. right after, jakes dad comes back and sees haley as a dragon. so now johnathan(jakes dad)knows about fu, dragons, and everything. after, jake arrives at the special meeting and puts transformation tea into everyones drink. the dd shows up, thinking he now controls everyones minds, and tries exactly that. realizing hes been tricked, everyone(including spud, trixie, the rest) goes into fighting. they're all no match for the dd, and soon rose shows up. she fights him as everyone runs away, as the temple is going back into the realm for another 1000 years. rose and the dd are trapped, and then jake comes back to save rose. he gets tangled by the dds tail, but soon breaks free with the help of rose. jake realizes the picture was proof to rose that his parallel universe was true. they kiss, then go back to the hotel with the family. the end. A great episode!

Great way to end the series for now, but I wouldn't count out a season 3 someday. Lately many animated shows have been coming back for cancelation.



Loved it of course. This was a great episode. Only downside was, it should have an hour long episode, Kim Possible and Danny Phantom gets an hour long finale, we should have gotten the same, it did effect the episode, because parts of it was rushed. Lao Shi gets kidnapped gets kidnapped right at the beginning, Jake meets the Dark Dragon very quickly. It is so true what Johnathan said, I always wondered what happens to the dragons cloths? I loved that they used my nicknames for the Dark Dragon. I have on American Dragon message boards I referred to the Dark Dragon as the Dark one and Double D, though I typed it DD. So that is kind of cool, it is like they think like me.



I liked how everyone contributed (except for Trixie and Spud bless their hearts they tried, though they held on to the staff that Rose used later on. But they have contributed more in past episodes, they didn't need to here) to the battle. Even Jake's parents helped.



Of course Rose got her memories back, and Johnathan finds out the truth, I am so happy.



I wish there was more Jake / Rose moments, but at least she got her memories back, and they kissed. I hope there is a season 3 someday.

wow i just finished watching HKL and it was a great episode. it starts out in hong kong and gramps is explaining to jake about the celebration that happins every lunar eclispe. so after that the gang goes out to go sight seeing in hong kong and you see jakes dad has a list which has all the tourist atractions and oh i can't really sum up the episode with explaining what happined. you see in this episode rose returns and u see jake keeps on trying to convince her and none of its working and he ands up getting arested but breaks free oh and gramps is captured by chang in the beginning by chang and there jake meets the dark dragon. it was really intresting the storyline and how it all fit togather. a lot of stuff surprised me in this episode like that jake didn't really pour the potion into their drinks. it was surprising when rose returned and that line jake says " shes just a old friend" but i'm still wondering are jake and rose ever gonna be togather because the episode kinda ended at a cliff hanger for their relationship. now to talk about the greatest person in amdrag Haley. she was in this episode a lot didn't really talk much but still she was the dragon johnthan first saw . Haley also captured chang which is really good. Haley Rocks wow that was random. all i no is we need a thrid season for this show and a forth. so thats kinda it for my review Haley Rocks She Is Awesome peace

OMG! This episode was so great! I was really upset that Rose left, but now she is back! Near the end, when they were being sucked into that portal thingy, I was freaking out! I didn't think Rose would make it! Cool action sequences too. I can't believe it took John this long to figure out that his kids were dragons, though. Great episode, my new personal fave, and how bad is it that it's the season finale? We don't see what happens to Rose after she remembers. It's wierd, I always thought that "Homecomming" wasn't the end for Rose. Guess I was right! Great episode, 2 thumbs up!!
