  • Jake has a ticket to some music awards show, but he has to babysit Haley. Add a villain and this should get interesting...

    "Great"
Personally, I have an odd like for Jake'Haley brother-sister episodes. Why, I have never been sure, since my younger brother and I never act that way (We're about 16 1/2 months apart in age, so I probably couldn't connect anyways with Jake and Haley)

Anyways, Jake has tickets to a music awards show, which features his favorite singer. But his parents have plans as well, and they have no babysitter, so Jake is stuck with Haley. And Haley has a loose tooth, her first one. (Which I find rather odd since I lost my first tooth when I was five, not eight) Being a dragon, her tooth is like a diamond in value. Meanwhile, the Tooth Fairy's assistant, Dr. Diente, turns evil and, well, you know how this will go. Jake has to babysit Haley, shift shifts with trixie and Spud and fight evil.

But Dr. Diente want's Haley's tooth, since if you bury it in the ground (Or any type of dirt), you get power. So we go onto a fight scene, the tooth is recovered, and hopefully Haley got some good money from that.

So I liked this episode. Better than some first season episodes I've seen (I haven't seen many) and even better than one of the best reviewed season one episodes ever, The Hunted. (But I thought The Hunted truly sucked, so you get my idea)
  • The first episode that I'd call excellent.

Dr. Diente, assistant to the Tooth Fairy, is quite disappointed in his boss's buisiness model. With access to every house in the world, he can't understand why she LEAVES money instead of taking it. So he steals her wand, creates an army of tooth creatures, and plots to regain all the change ever left beneath a child's pillow. But, first, he needs a dragon tooth.

When Trixie scores tickets to the upcoming Hip Hop Awards, Jake is thrilled. He can't wait to see his favorite star, Shaniqua C., in person. Unfortunately, he promised to babysit Haley that night.

Haley, incidentally, is eagerly anticipating the loss of her first baby tooth. A baby dragon tooth. Just what Dr. Diente is looking for.

This is a fantastic episode. The story is easily on par with the best of KIM POSSIBLE, milking the clever setup for as much chaos as possible. Things get especially wild when Trixie and Spud offer to rotate babysitting duties with Jake and have their own adventures helping Haylee in her attempts to remove the seemingly invulnerable tooth.

It all moves at a machine gun pace, with Jake running back and forth across town, Trixie and Spud ducking for cover as each grander attempt fails, and Dr. Diente lurking outside, just waiting for the right moment to strike.

And everything builds to a brilliant climax where we see the power of a single dragon tooth. Fantastic. And, as far as I can tell, it's the first time a character dies on this series.
  • A very funny and exciting episode!!

Overall, I thought that this was a very eventful episode!! I especially loved the parts where Trixie and Spud were trying to get Haley's loose tooth out of her mouth!! When the fan fell from the ceiling and Trixie said," Oooo! We in trouble now!" I just about fell out of my seat laughing!! I also like how Jake rescued his little sister instead of going to the Hip Hop Music Awards!! That shows how much he really cares about his little sister!! So, I personally liked this episode more than some of the episodes I've seen!! If you haven't seen it, you should watch it!!
  • Jake wants to go to a concert, but he has to babysit.

Like I said Jake wants to go to a concert, but he ends up babysitting his little sister Haley, who is also a dragon. During this time period she is losing a tooth, but what she doesn't know is that an evil man wants her tooth because a dragon tooth is much more special then a normal tooth. A dragon tooth when planted in the ground can do extradanary things. So Jake ends up missing the concert to save his little sister Haley from the man who wants her tooth. The man had kidnapped the tooth fairy so she couldn't do anything about it. Overall 9. they put some development into Haley so, yeah.

this episode was ok, you got to see a lot more of jakes little sister and you get to see her start to use her powers more, its kida funny how she uses them behind her dads back. i like the end when jake saves his sister, it ws very sweet. but i have to say that the best thing about this episode was when jakes friends were trying to get her loose tooth out and they ruined the house. i also liked that she took the blame for it all.
  • An excellent development of Haley's character.

This episode is one of my favorites. Seeing the gang try and juggle an award's show with babysitting was very humerous. I feel that the episode could have been more violent though, with the capture of the tooth fairy and the battle with the tooth monsters. Haley was also great in this episode. Her character developed very nicely. The end was great when she used her wings.
