In Breakthrough & Conquer, the scoring system has changed. Each contender now is awarded 40 points for each event won + 20 bonus points. It was 30 points won for each event won + 40 bonus points.

In the Assault event, the target has changed to a white center and red on the outside from the black center with white on outside as well as showing a picture pop-up illistration. Also, the scoring for hitting the outer part of the target has been changed from 60 points to 75 points.

This is the second time that John Shumski and Craig Williams have competed against each other as well as Brenda Hund competing with them. They first competed against/together each other in their First Half Preliminary Round 1.
