(After shutting out the contenders in the Gauntlet) Mike: You got some terrific team mates. That's all I can say. Hawk: I tell you what, Mike. A lot of people don't appreciate what the Gladiators are all about. I'll tell you what's it's about. It's about team work. I've got 4 of the best guys behind me a man could ask for. I put a little hurt on them myself. We took care of 'em. That's how it's done. Team work's the name of the game. Turbo: Yeah. Team work Rebel: Yeah, Baby.

(After shutting out the contenders) Mike: You love that don't you? Sabre: I love it. This is the greatest. If it was up to me, I'd do Conquer every day, every event, against every contender.

(After their round of the Pyrmaid) Mike: Turbo. What a rotten way to start your day. Turbo: Hey, this is 45 seconds of nonstop, up-down. They're 2 pretty quick contenders. Mike: Here's why. I'm sinking down in this foam rubber. It's like walking in quicksand, Hawk Hawk: Absolutely, Mike. They key for us as Gladiators is not necessary to fight the contendser but to not fight each other. Not a lot of room up there but it looks like there's a lot of room up there from a distance. But you cut around the corner not knowing where you're going. You've got to keep an eye on your buddy and also keep an eye on the contender. And that's what makes it tough.
