(After knocking her contender off 5 seconds) Mike: I remember in some earlier shows, Zap, you told me that you did well in this even because of your survival instincts. Having watched you there against Cathleen, I think you are being a little modest. You got some very good experience on you side. Zap: It also takes a hunger and I got a hunger for this event. I see the guys knocking them off in 2 hits and I said "three hits" boom, boom, boom gone. Mike: So there's a real Gladiator spirit back there then, huh, in the locker room? Zap: Got to have it and we got it this year.

(After defeating both contenders in the Joust) Mike: I think the key is not the strength, your obvious stength. But You're so quick to react to our referee's whislte. Tower: You know, I try to kind of out of the side of my head, Mike, out of my eyes, is see Larry Thompson giving me that signal or wait until I hear it. Again, it's that first right arm that gets them knocked back and it's just that little tap-tap. Mike: Well, in the Joust, Tower, you're the man. You're the man. Tower: I'm the man he says. I'm the man. Oh yeah.

(Rapping) Sabre: Everybody. Everybody say they wanna go. Be on the Gladiator show. Where you know that if you finally make it to TV. You gotta see me. The S, the A, the B, the R, the E. Ooeee. Sabre. Sabre. Sabre like the blade. Knockin' people down is how I get paid. That's enough of this talking out. Get up out of your chair and get some. Peace.

(After his round in Tug-O-War) Mike: Sabre. You said it all several weeks earlier on this show. You hate to lose. It makes you mad. It puts you in a bad disposition. That's obviously what's happened to you in Tug-O-War. Sabre: Yeah but I want to say to this all the kids that's watching at home. If gonna be happy with victory, you gotta be able to accept defeat. The first guy that beat me off the whisle, he took the initial pop from me. So, what I said was soon as he blows the whistle, I'm taking advantage from him immediatley. And that's what I did. So remember that kids, you get knocked down once, don't get mad and give up. Get up and do it again. Mike: Way to turn the negative into a positive.

(After shutting out the contenders in the Gauntlet) Mike: Sabre. You were the key guy in stopping Sean Goodwin there, in terms of times spent, in the Gauntlet. Sabre: Well, it's a team effort. The whole Gauntlet is. But each individual section it's mine, it's Hawk's, it's Turbo's, it's Tower's, it's Laser's. So, what we try to do, everybody wants to be the MVP, the Most Valuable Player in a team effort. So today was my day on that guy right there.

(After shutting out the contenders in Pyramid) Lisa: Nice battle gals. Cathy. You nearly had Siren but she is fast. Cathy: Oh she's fast and she's tough and I figured, man, she's threw me down once, I go "Well if she's gonna throw me down, she's going to go with me." So we went together, head over heels. Lisa: Siren. She's pretty good. Siren: That's right. This reminds me of when I was a kid when we played King of the Hill. I'm never going to grow up.
