American Gladiators

Making their International Gladiators debut are from Russia; Astra & Lynx, from Germany; Angel, Flash & Giant, from South Africa; Delilah, Sahara, Impi & Samson, from Australia; Fury, Flame, Hammer & Vulcan and from the United Kingdom; Rhino.

Returning International Gladiators are from the US; Hawk, Jazz & Sabre, from the UK; Zodiac & Jet and from Russia; Dynamite.

Events not competed in this heat were Sky Track, the Pyramid, Duel, Pole-Axe, the Suspension Bridge, Swingshot or Atlasphere.

Peggy Odita of the United States & Mark Everitt of the United Kingdom advance to the Semifinal Round. Mark Everitt will however drop out of the competion due to illness.

Peggy Odita has a 17 1/2 second head start over Myriam Losch & Mark Everitt has a 1 1/2 second head start over Alexander Maltsev.

Jazz, Flame, Lynx, Jet, Delilah, Rhino, Impi, Vulcan, Flash & Sabre shut out Myriam Losch & Alexander Maltsev in their rounds of the Gauntlet.

Fury, Jet, Giant & Hawk shut the contenders out in their rounds of Hang Tough.

Peggy Odita, Mark Everitt, Alexander Maltsev shut out Sahara, Hammer & Samson in their rounds on the Pendulum.

Zodiac shuts out her contender in her round on the Pendulum.

Pendulum A cat and mouse game with a giant ball covered with a cargo net which is suspended 40 feet over the netted arena floor. Once the game starts, the Pendulum is released and swings back and forth. The Gladiator, who is on opposite side of the contender, has 60 seconds to chase and grab the contender's flag. If the contender evades the Gladiator and stays on in the 60 seconds, they score 10 pts. If they stay on for 40 seconds, they score 5 pts. If the contender falls from the Pendulum the event is stopped. If the gladiator falls from the Pendulum, the event is stopped and the contender scores 10 pts.

Jet & Samson shut out their contenders in their rounds on the Wall.

Mark Everitt is the 1995 UK Gladiators Grand Champion.

Peggy Odita is the 1992-1993 1st International Challenge of Champions Winner, 1994 Season 6 American Gladiators Grand Champions & Battle of the Best I & II Champion.
