(Talking with Zap on the sideline) Mike: Well, Todd. I think these contenders are getting a little chippy especially Bridget. Zap, you did have a great overall track record there and she just happened to knock you off. Zap: Actually, yeah it was pretty fun. The crowd was with me this time. I think what got me was Bridget's Tarzan yell went ah aha ha and just threw me off and I was looking at her and went Oh. Mike: So no sophisticated computer program. Zap: That's new! Mike: It's Tarzan yell is what it was. Zap: That was good for her and worked. So, yeah. Mike: I think she has a little bit of naivete working for her right here cause she doesn't realize that she has a few more events to follow that you have to encounter her at. Zap: Yeah we'll see her in the wrestling ring.

(After winning against Blaze, Lace and Zap in Human Cannonball) Todd: Are you willing to let us in on the secret? Bridget: Well, Todd, I could tell you but I would have to kill you so I better not.

(As Bridget prepares for the Human Cannonball) Todd: Bridget. You've need a lot of ground to make up in this particular event. You got a chance for going 3 for 3. Bridget: Uh, sure do. I'm just going to test the laws of physics and see what happens.

(After Laser completes his Human Cannonball events) Mike: If there's one event where the contender has a true advantage, it is in Human Cannonball because of the physics involved here. But Laser you managed to go not 1 for 3, not 2 for 3 but 3 for 3. Laser: Well, I think when you're the best of the best when your an American Gladiators, you're the best in the world. We're here to compete and we're going to be the best for now on. You bet.

Mike: You know what ultimately undid you, don't you. Suzanne: What? Mike: This move like this. (Mike does a front somersault) That's when you got it in the rear end. Suzanne: Yeah. Mike: Got hit right in the butt. Suzanne: But it looked good.

(After his defeating both contenders in the Assault) Mike: Tell the truth, Nitro. You paid for these people to be behind you. Nitro: Hey! Mike: You don't have a... (Audience cheers as Nitro turns to them) Nitro: That what it's about. It makes it great to be a Gladiator with fans like them. Mike: Admit it! You don't have a fan in the world. Nitro: (Laughs) Either you love me or hate me, but if you hate me you love to hate me. Mike: One thing is for certain. You are bad news with that tennis cannon. Nitro: Well, Mike, as you know I take everything a 100 % serious and everything I'm a 100 % intense because win, win, win is the name of the game and that's what I like to do. Mike: Don't forget that these contenders have a long memories. They're out gunning for you as well. Keep on your toes. Nitro: You know what I say, Good luck, pack a lunch. It's going to be a long day.

(After Men's Powerball event) Todd: We're here with about 750 pounds worth of Gladiator muscle but I have to say, to be honest with you, I don't think that these three are very satisfied. Gemini, what happened out there this last bout? Gemini Well, I think it was the inability for us to channel our energies properly. We chased them instead of staying in our zones. I think if we would have stayed in our zones a lot better, we would have been a little more effective.

(After the Men's Wall event) Mike: Laser, once again, you prove that this is your specialty. Laser: Yeah, well, we had a lot of time to practice on it. He's a good contender. We're the American Gladiators. We're the chosen few. We're here to stay. You bet.

(After her rounds in the Joust) Todd: You were tough that time around. Lace: Well ran a little mascara there but it's time to take care of business. This is American Gladiators and we're here to give you a good show, some good sports and lots of fun. Todd: Looked like you were going to the body a lot. Was that planned? Lace: Well, couldn't see her most of the time. She was hitting me so hard on the right side. I just kept back with the pugil stick as only a Gladiator can.
