Show Summary

In this seasonal anthology series, American Horror Story in the first season follows the Harmon family, a family of three who have moved from Boston to LA for a fresh start but end up living in a sinister haunted house instead. From producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk comes the intriguing, erotic and scary story of life within the haunted house.

In the second season, the series deals with the legend of Bloody Face, who haunts a Catholic-run sanitarium in 1964. In a house of healing that is anything but, a serial killer is the least of the threats that menace residents and staff alike.

In the third season, a group of witches deal with enemies from within and without as they try to survive in the modern day.

In the fourth season one of the last standing Freak Show's in Jupiter, Florida deals with serial killers, psychopaths, and society. This season is set in the 1950s.

  • Season 3 meh!!!

First off I should declare my love for this show and it's originality. I love how it changes every season, really keeps me interested.

Having said that S3 Coven did dissapoint me a little, but it was always going to be hard to top S2 Asylum; which is by far my fave of the series so far. I have watched a good few horrors that scared the bejesus out of me but for the first time a TV show truly had me terrified form the outset and did not let up the whole season through!!!!

There were a lot of great elements to like about Coven, the intro of Angela Bassett who really stole the show 4 me, well her and Kathy Bates. I was extremely annoyed at how Misty was dismissed so easily and trapped in hell, I really loved her character and would have liked to see her survive till the end. Emma Roberts was gleefully abhorrent as always and I was totally chuffed when she FINALLY snuffed it.

Overall Coven just lacked something for me unfortunately. My ranking so far is Asylum, Season 1 and then Coven. Just about to start Freak Show and I must admit I am REALLY looking forward to this series.moreless
  • last season

Last season wasn't that great but the rest of these shows are awesome, my favorite was the witches.... love NOLA anyway... we took a trip to NOLA to see the building that were used in that series

  • This is one of the best shows ever on TV

Every season this show gets more intense and better, the writers are twisted (in the best way possible)! season 4 is off the hook and Finn Whitlock and Naomi Grossman's (even though Naomi's character isnt that prominent) performances are insanely good. Somebody give these two emmy!

cant wait to see where this shows goes in the future
