Phil was not my choice to go home, I thought phil's blates of glory was very good and my favorite opener of the season so very good performance by him, but I don't think he'll get a record deal right away so you could try to give him one. I knew that he would go home but next to blake, he's my favorite so Lakisha and Chris should have went home. Earlier in the season, simon said lakisha should win, but later he said he thought lakisha would go home, Chris Richardson was the obviest choice to go home, because the farthest he would make it would be the top 5, I liked him but he didn't have enough pop variety.moreless

Well phil is out, Chris too. I'm kinda disappointed because Blake has to leave hie best friend. It was sad to see two best friend separating. * sob sob* I not really a Phil fan but i was a little shock to see Phil out. My friend couldn't believe it, she thought Lakisha was out, but Lakisha wouln't be out that week cause SIMON thought it was good an actually kissed her and Bon Jovi said that Lakisha wouldn't be out with the song she sang. Jordin wasn't really good, and once again Melinda is good, And the important thing is BLAKE WAS AWESOME. He was so good. I love you Blake.moreless
  • Results were justice, but the performances were really boring.

Last night, our "Idol" contestants sang to the songs of Bon Jovi. Overall they did well. Jordin had a bad night, Blake took a risk, Chris did what no one else would do, LaKisha is back, Phil made an awesome opening and Melinda closed the show right.

Ruben, Fantasia and Taylor appear on video promoting the "Idol Gives Back" charity program that everyone knows about. Seriously, by showing the 3 least successful American Idols, they didn't do the charity any good.

Robin Thicke was on the show. I actually never heard of him before, but he's an OK performer. I would never buy any of his CD's or download any of his songs, but I'd listen to him on the radio.

Bon Jovi also performed and I've got to say I was really disappointed. It was a very boring performance and I have to say I expected so much more from a rock legend. Also, am I the only one that thinks Bon Jovi is warn out? Sure his work was great back then, but he hasn't done anything really legendary recently.

Melinda, Phil and LaKisha were asked to go to the center of the stage. Ryan said one of them would go home. Melinda was sent to safety early, leaving LaKisha and Phil. Sadly, Phil had to go home, but he did improve a lot during his time on "Idol" so I give him credit for that.

Jordin was sent to safety right away, leaving Blake and Chris. Yup, that means two guys would be going home. Chris went home. I'm really happy he did, he hasn't been doing so well and anyone who actually likes him wouldn't even mention his voice or his performance. No one votes for him because of his talent. I'm glad he went home.

That means our final 4 is Melinda Doolittle, Jordin Sparks, LaKisha Jones and Blake Lewis. With three divas up there, I think Blake has a huge chance to make it at least to the final 3. Votes will probably be split between the three divas and probably leaving us with the top 4 curse. Chris Daughtry got the curse last year and so did season 3's LaToya London. Could front-runner Melinda Doolittle or youthful talent Jordin Sparks leave us in a shocking results show? Who knows?moreless
  • Only four are left and we're all that much closer to next season's premier.

This season has been at times joyful, annoying, and quite maddening. I hope if Simon, Paula, and Randy have learned anything from this season it's that they have to start with 24 truly talented singers, not just a few talented singers and a bunch of people who look good when they try to sing. Miss Doolittle isn't your typical Hollywood beauty, but her singing has kept her out of the bottom 3 all season. Once in the top ten less talented singers were graced by the power of VFTW. With their help Sanjaya was able to try out many new hairstyles for America. How nice. Whoever your favorite in the top four is, think of what it would have been like had it been: Antonella Barba, Sundance Head, Jared Cotter, and Leslie Hunt. Exactly.moreless
  • Chris and Phil are gone! I'm not so surprised.

Last night, 2 people had to leave because no one was eliminated on the Idol Gives Back show. First, Ryan asked Melinda, Phil, and LaKisha to join him in the center of the stage. He first said that Melinda was safe, then he said LaKisha was safe also, which meant thst Phil was the first to leave. He sorta deserved to go, but I didn't care if Kiki went home. Bon Jovi and someone else performed later on. Also, Ryan said that Jordin was safe. Then he asked if Blake and Chris could join him in the center of the stage. They were very close friends, but one of them had to leave. Chris was going home. I'm glad he did.moreless
