Right after Bo's first song you could see a stagehand on the set, then when the camera switched to the judges desk you can see another one by the judges table.
There were no video clips before the first two songs, but during the last round there was a video of the Judges' Choice being announced.

When they showed the final performance wrap-up for carrie at the end the peroformance of her third song was not the same as the one she did live. Live, she raised her hands and screamed the last note as she finished the song. On the wrap up she had her hands by her side and sang a different note. I wonder where fox got the alternate footage from...
Season 3 contestant George Huff was in the audience.
Bo is the first person ever to perform A cappella during the live shows.

When Carrie sang Making Love Out of Nothing at All, the teleprompter was visible many times. Im a big Carrie fan and was rewatching her performances, thats why I know. Most likely other contestants use it too. But its seen moving so it must be the lyrics. Its seen everytime the camera moves except when she sings her last note and the camera swings around her, then its turned off. Just thought it was interesting becuase its almost like karaoke.
