American Idol

So I really wanted to get back into American Idol this year, after missing last season entirely. Unfortunately, I missed the majority of the season. In a way, I kind of don't regret missing it after watching the finale. All the judges are great (unlike last season: Ellen DeGeneres really?!) but it's still not the same.



Simon Cowell & Paula Abdul I'm sure are missed by many. I was kind of disappointed by the final 2 standing. So... were they a couple? I didn't like that the final 2 ended up being country singers and the ones that I liked in the beginning of the season that I felt were better, were voted off.



Scotty wasn't a bad singer at all and you could tell he had a big heart, but I just don't see this guy getting famous. American Idol may have been a must-watch show at one time, but that time has clearly come and gone. Average finale to what I assume was an average season. The Beyonce performance was great though, wasn't it?
