  • The Rocker vs The Country Girl

The Rocker vs The Country Girl in a head to head stand off. Who will it be? Who will put on the best performance? Who will the audience vote for. This episode had America on the edge of their seats and dialing till they could hardly dial anymore. You new going into this round who your favorite was. You knew who you were going to vote for before either one of the two contestants Carrie or Bo took the stage. I know I had picked who I wanted to win and dialed up until they cut off dialing. It was an intense episode cause you knew only one was going to win. It was just a matter of who's fans dialed the most.moreless

  • TRIVIA (3)

  • QUOTES (0)

  • NOTES (4)

    • Last time Ryan says his "Seacrest out!" line at the end of an episode.

    • Ryan mentioned that there would be 4 hours of voting time rather then the two every other week has.

    • During the first coin toss Ryan lost the coin down a grate, so he had to redo it. Instead of having one of the contestants call it, from now on they just put a picture of each on either side and whoever's face lands up gets to choose. Carrie won and decided to go second.

    • Each contestant sang 3 songs. One was Simon Fuller (creator)'s choice, one was their choice from a previous week, and another was the Winner's song.
Bo Bice- "Long Long Road" (Original (Simon Fuller's choice)), "Vehicle" by The Ides of March (Bo's choice-Top 7 week), and "Inside Your Heaven"(Original (Winner's song))
Carrie Underwood- "Inside Your Heaven","Independence Day" by Martina McBride (Carrie's choice Top 10 week), and"Angels Brought Me Here" by Guy Sebatian (Simon Fuller's choice),

    • Ryan mentioned that this was the first boy/girl finale since season one and joked about there being a spin off movie and said he hoped there wasn't. This is a nod to the movie "From Justin to Kelly" which starred season one finalists Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini, and the fact that it is highly agreed upon that the movie was terrible.
