American Idol goes to South Carolina and finds...talent? Well, I can't remember any good people right now, thought I'm sure there were some. I mainly remember the guy that tried to sing and he was terrible. Then he started argueing with the judges and said he was good. After that, he got mad at them for saying that South Carolina had the worst auditions. He was funny...and terrible. There really did seem to be a lot of bad singers in South Carolina, but that probably is because of the coverage. Anyways, another good audition episode that American Idol is known for.
I thought this was the best mix of bad / good singers for an episode so far. The spoof of bad singers doing Carrie Underwood's "Before he cheats..." actually felt a little fake, but it was funny to watch whatever the case may be. I thought the two heavy set black people to start off the show were great together, but I dont think that they are going to make it very far in Hollywood. The guy might, but the girl wont make it very far without her brother there to back her up. Overall, these auditions tend to have shorter reviews. I thought the episode was funny and at the same time I saw a couple of good singers that I think could go far. One of the better auditions yet.
