  • Not a really tearjerker but I didnm't agree with all who went home.

Well this is my inaugural results show review for American Idol. Now Fantasia Barrino was the gues singer for this one looks as if they are having past Amercan Idol contestants sing on results shows as the following week Kellie Pickler sung. Now for the results and opininions of mine. Now we'll start with the Ladies. I didn't really have a least favorite for the girls, the really good ones of the week that I thought were good that week didn't get voted off so I was fine with that portion but then the Guys the only problem I had was Rudy Cardenes getting voted off. I thought he was at least 3 times better than Sanjaya. It's not that Sanjaya is a bad singer it's just whoever is picking his songs needs to stop. The song choice is so horrible because the song is to slow and boring. Tha tas my only thoughts about the episode.moreless
  • I disagree with the results.

I have to say that I was certainly skeptical going into this one hour long results show of "American Idol" because I wasn't quite sure how they would fill the whole hour. Why it needed to be a full hour, I don't know. It must have something to do with advertising dollars.

Anyhow, I have to say that the two girls that got kicked off were two of the worst performers from the night before. However, I didn't think that Paul and Rudy deserved to go. Paul sang well and Rudy, while he didn't have a great voice, was entertaining. That is much more than I can say for Sanjaya and Sundance. Both of their respective performances were complete snore-fests. Hopefully, America will get it right next week and give those two the boot.moreless
  • This is a great start to American Idol season 6!

I am very happy over how it turned out. I'm not to happy about Rudy leaving, i thought Sanjaya, but hey i didn't really care for Rudy's voice to begin with anyway. I am a little dissapointed over how Amy Krebs left though, didn't think that was going to happen. I really liked how Paul and Nicole went though, they both were horrible. The song Paul picked was great, but not for him. And Nicole, well all she did was shout the song whatever she was signing. The only guy i really like is Nick Pedro, even though he sang to low on the song he sang by Richard Marx, but then again Richard Marx sang "Now and Forever," pretty low too. Also Chris Richardson, i started to get up and dance when he was signing, and A.J. And I really like all of the girls, except for Allaina she has to go, unless she pulls it together during the next round.moreless
  • Partly disagree with the results

Goodbye to Paul, Rudy, Amy & Nicole. However, I was a bit disappointed with the result as I didn't think Rudy and Amy deserved the boot.

While I agree that Paul's song choice was wrong (not to mention his bare-footed performance) and Nicole was basically just screaming throughout the whole song (no doubt she has a wide vocal range, but it sounded messy), I thought Antonella or Alaina should have been eliminated and for the guys should have been Sanjaya.

Top 3 performances (in my opinion) in order of preference, for this round, are:-

GUYS - 1) Phil Stacey, 2) Blake Lewis, 3) Nicholas Pedro

GIRLS - 1) Gina Glocksen, 2) Melinda Doolittle, 3) toss between Lakisha & Sabrina.

Can't wait for the next round!moreless
  • Goodbye Paul Kim, Rudy Cardenas, Amy Krebs and Nicole Tranquillo

Well this episode came right down to it. Everyone who left the competition were at the bottom of my picks or somewhere there. Although Sundance Head and Antonella Barba deserved to go before any of them did, but life is unfair and you can't do anything about it. Sanjaya didn't deserve to stay. And when I heard he was in the top4, I was shocked. He did not do well last night and he should be somewhere in the bottom. Maybe he did not deserve to go home, but top 4 is way too high for a mediocre performance. Fantasia was great.moreless
