    Man I am so tired of this dumb broad no one is that stupid it has to be a act I guess she thinks being dumb can get her votes and she really thinks she has a voice its people like that make everybody think people in the South are mentally inferior to everyone else I for one hopes this idiot goes home after they perform the Rod Stewart songs for this Tuesday who else agrees?

    I agree. Not only that, but she's too similar to Carrie Underwood. Seriously, one country-singing barbie doll is bad enough...but TWO???

    yeah but carrie underwood wasnt like her... i think carrie can sing a lot better than her.... and she didnt pull the whole dumb act she was classy an humble... compared to kellie who is dumber than nails an id love to see her get off the show asap do the right thing ppl!

    Well, according to that article from Vote For The Worst (if you can believe it) it said that there were at least 2 restaurants that have served it even before Kellie was on idol. But like I said, I'm okay with her not knowing what that was. Especially since I didn't.

    I don't think I've ever met someone who didn't know what on paper meant? That is a very common saying.

    She's an idiot for using the dumb blonde thing to begin with. It's like Jessica Simpson. She was funny at first, because she really said stupid things unintentionally but then she tried to make everything seem funny and stupid and naive. That is what Kelli is doing now. Anything Simon says she tries to sound stupid about it, but come on...who doesn't know what "On paper" means! She should be interviewed for street smarts.

    I use it and know people who use it kind of regularly. "On paper, we make a good match but..." "It's a great idea on paper but..." C'mon, that's a pretty common term.

    As for calamari I know a lot of people who didn't know what it was when they were her age, myself included. Remember she is young. But I think she takes the "stupid" thing way too far. Some things she probably knows but says she doesn't because she thinks it's cute. IT'S NOT!

    And she is reinforcing a stereotype that Southern people are stupid, naive, hicks. Her southern accent, coupled with her cute blonde looks gives her license to thinks she can act that way. Maybe someone should send her Pink's song.

    As much as I don't like her and her dumb blonde act, she's always safe every week. It seems like there are still millions of Americans voting for her.

    I agree with the earlier assessment on Carrie. She was always professional and humble throughout last years competition.

    I liked Carrie much better. She didn't put on a stupid act and she was a much better singer.

    On another note, I have known what calamari is for a while, and I'm 4 years younger than she is, and I don't eat seafood.

    I would not take the southern hick thing too serious. I rather think she reminds me of a Kelly Bundy, except not as pretty. She does overdo the dumb act & living in another time zone (dumb women were attractive in the 90's).

    I didn't realize I needed to remember every time I used a particular saying...

    I think the important thing is that I'd be able to recognize what it means. No, I don't think I use it in my regular vocabulary, but that doesn't mean that many others don't. Obviously Kellie lacks that basic ability to figure out the meaning of some words.

    I don't know why I keep replying to these threads about Kellie's "intelligence." I think I've made my point that I don't care, yet I'm allowing myself to get sucked in anyway. If only I could cure my procrastination (April really sucks for college students!)

    It is time for the Pickler to go . . . she's annoying, even to a Southern Belle like myself. It's those hooligans over at " vote for the worst .com " and their fans, keeping her safe every week. Maybe if everyone reading this (and your friends) called in votes for everyone BUT Kelly, it would oust her. It's worth a try!
