  • 30 second to make a fool of yourself.

    9.1
We find in this episode the good and the bad of the want to be american idols. Many show up for serious seats on the idol top candidates others show up for their 30 seconds of fame on national TV. It is always fun to watch the hopefuls look shocked that should never have even shown up get rejected. They look astounded. Why? They know they can't sing. It's fun to watch. To see who will go through and who will not. It is also great fun to watch the judges do their thing and let their frustrations show on national TV.moreless
  • I love seeing stupid people doing stupid thing.

    6.0
Of course we don't get to really see all the good people, but Kelly was really good. She is my current favorite. However, I feel that she won't go to the end because she is so much like Carrie.

The air force guy was also pretty good, but I can't really see him winning from just what we've seen.

That black mother who brought her whole family was really good as well. I'll be rooting for her in the next round.

Kendra is another of my early favories. For some reason I see her really standing out in round two. I'll be upset if she doesn't have a powerful performance next time we see her.

I missed the second hour, so I can't really talk about anyone else I feel is gonna do well.moreless
  • I love watching people make complete idiots out of themselves.

    9.4
I love watching the beginning of American Idiot (I mean Idol). I mean really, these people have to know that they cannot sing. Someone had to have told them that they suck, but hey it's entertainment for me. All in all American Idol wouldn't be nearly as good if they only got good singers and Greensboro had plenty of bad ones, including the little (big) kim wanna be!!
  • I hope ya'll got to see the auditions tonight. It almost seems like they were better then last week. There are people out there that really have some talent and others well.....

    9.2
Alot of girls are coming and telling Simon that they love him.Do you think they really do?Or maybe they are just trying to suck up.Some of his comments I can laugh at and sometimes he is way to harsh.

I thought Paris sounded really good. But that other girl the one who had some kind of surgery and her boyfriend was cheating on her.She sounded good too.

And what about Fantasia's cousin or whatever I guess all talent stopped at her.Because he surely did not have any.My all time favorite part of the show was the girl at the end I laughed so hard I was crying. Some people really know how to show their ignorance.

  • 2 hours completely wasted!

    8.0
So, who ever tought that "Idol" would make a good show, well, almost a good show and I would take compliment on the contestant with the dummy!

The auditions came from North Carolina, where they got former "Idol's" Clay Aiken and Fantasia. But none of the ones that we got to see, where compared to Aiken or Fantasia!

In fact, most of the performance where the most stupid ones this season. Who is this Rhondetta? She spends 10 minutes insulting Paula Abdul and came with more! Then the guy with the dummy where unbeatable! But the most disgracefull one, should be the Michael Jackson singer with the DVD and singing a song that nobody remembers! Simon Cowell yells "What the hell was that?" Then comes the fire fighter and the Cadet and one could tell, is that what they are doing?

In case you noted, yes it was Simon Cowell's birthday (That was some 6 months back!) and the only thing he said was "This is my best birthday ever!"

The only thing I wish for is to take a hammer and break the TV set, the same way that Michael Jackson with the DVD guy did! Now you see it, now you don't!moreless
