This was probably the last episode that is going to be not as exciting to me. Obviously it is the beginning of the season 7 so next week should start the actual competetion which I am eager to see. I like about 5 of the finalists so I wonder who will make it and there are alot of young people this season too. Amerrican Idol is one of my favorite reality shows and I like to take a break and watch it during the week. This episode was the closure for the introduction, now we move to the interesting competetion between the finalists.moreless

This episode really isn't needed, but it is fun to see how people take the news that they're going to be staying on the show or not. I don't see how this process could take 12 hours to film, but it seems like it took at leats that long. I was really excited to see the rocker chick get in. We have seen girls like her in the past and she could fall under the same spell that all the others before her have gone through, but it will be a fun ride with her no matter what. She was one of the three I wanted to see get in. I really wanted Josiah to make it in too - just because his story was the only one that really felt real. He started clinging for life when he thought he was going to get eliminated, but for the most part his story was a hard one to listen to. Then obviously the final guy selection was rough. I tought the red headed nerd should have made it in - I thought he sung very well and deserved to be in the top 24.moreless

    • Simon (to David Hernandez): I wasn't the one who said yes, by the way, and I think you're going to have to work an awful lot harder to have even the remotest chance of winning.

    • Simon (to Kyle Ensley): I want you to know from me, wholeheartedly, that I completely and wholeheartedly disagree with this decision. I think you would have had something people would have enjoyed, and I'm really disappointed.
