      • Tim Urban didn't have time to sing before the episode ended.

      • The Ford Music Video was "We've Got a Big Mess on Our Hands" by The Academy is... One accident caused by Tim sets off a series of bad things happening. First Tim, trips on a rope which knocks down paint cans, then Aaron slips on the paint and his shoe goes flying off, which hits Lee who has a cart of fruit which flies everywhere causing Michael who is working on a fire hydrant to break it. Tim unbeknownst to it all gets in his car and drives off, leaving a big mess on the street.


        *At the beginning of the video the mics in  the studio were still on and you could hear Ryan talking but not the music.

Due to this Lennox could not make it to perform but instead a video was played featuring her vocals of the song she was going to sing.
        -Mary J. Blige and the Star Band (Consisting of: Randy Jackson, Orianthi, Travis Barker, Steve Vai, Monte Nuble and Ron Fair)-"Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zepplin

      • Towards the end of the episode Simon announced that so far, since the episode started 15 Million dollars had been raised.

      • There were multiple times that the Idol music and symbol were not shown/played going into the commercial break, due to a serious video being shown right before.

      • Ryan did not mention the number of votes.

      • Eliminated Tonight: Tim Urban
        *This is the first time that a contestant has been eliminated on Idol Gives Back night. In season 6, they decided to have no one eliminated, and in Season 7, they had Idol Gives Back on its own night and the elimination the night after. This also means that this is the longest results show ever, being over 2.5 hours.
