American Idol

I really hated this ep,because we hardly found any talented people here! It\'s hard to believe only 11 people made it through out of those thousands that auditioned! But out of all those untalentless singers,I found my fave Ai winner:Taylor Hicks!!!!He was the only really good part of the ep.

Patrick Hall was okay,but not great.And the mecca person,I liked.I think she should have atleast got in to the top 24.And I really liked Heather,but when she made it into The top 24 ,she went downhill from there.Although I think Simon was alittle harsh at her sometimes.Her problem,I think was that she didn\'t pick the right song choices.

Mecca (the belly dancer) was really good. She's got a look about her that is interesting. I can see her going pretty far.



Heather sounded great. Like Paula said, not the most challenging song, but the voice was there.



Jason sounded great. I don't know why they passed on him. He definitely deserved a pass to round 2 in my opinion.



Taylor sounded ok, but I don't see him going forward to far.



I was dissapointed with Vegas. We usually see more good talent, and it just wasn't here this time around.



The rejects keep finding ways to surprise us with how bad someone can suck and yet think they sound great.

There's few things I enjoy more than watching Simon and the gang make fun of bad singers. There were some really awful ones this time. The belly dancer was the highlight of the show. She was pretty cute. I think Simon was a little hard on the guy from Birmingham. He had a pretty good voice. Hard to believe only 11 out of all those thousands made it through.

For this season, I'm very disappointed about the anti-gay persona that the show has put on. It's everyone's fault for making it such a big deal. First of all, it's the judges' fault, especially Simon, for making all those rude comments. It's also the producers' fault for not cutting them out. And it's also the auditioner's fault for putting themselves in the situation to be rediculed. It's also our fault (including me) for still laughing about it.



AT least this episode didn't have that too much. But it also wasn't a show full of talents. But I really do like graceful losers; they give me hope that our society isn't that horrible.
