  • Why do these people even show up?

The auditions in Tennessee were horrendous. I have to say that these preliminary audition shows are progressively getting worse and worse. While I do laugh out loud every episode, I feel as though the episodes are repetitive.

I cannot believe that so few people made it through to Hollywood. I think that only a few of these were shown. I wish the producers would have shown more of the talented contestants. I know that we will have a chance to see them in the Hollywood shows, but I would really like to see just what made them shine in the eyes of the judges.

Watching the judges make fun of clueless wannabe singers is funny to a point, but when an obese or physically, not beautiful person comes on screen, you just know that the chance of them making the cut is slim to none. Yes, there are exceptions, but more often than not, they have just been put through so that Simon, Paula and Randy can poke fun at them.
  • Some people are just so darn crazy!

They didn't really insult or laugh at people in this one so I'm sure that made less people mad

Okay, to me the strangest person was that one guy who was talking about an emotional song and how everyone was going to cry and he ended up dancing weird

The only one I can really remember was that girl Timika, mainly because she seemed so quiet, strange and without emotion, yet, she wanted to be the next A.I. And when she didn't make it she didn't really care .... Wow

And that one girl with the red hair ... dang! She got really mad when she didn't make it. She had a great voice but no star quality, but she was ready to kick bootay when she got rejected, quick note: Don't get into show business if you can't handle rejection

Who would have guessed that hippy-osama looking guy would have had such a great voice ... mad props to him

But I loved that backup singer who was so humble and so timid and she belted out this voice and when she was done she didn't know wheather she was any good ... that's the kind of person you don't want Hollywood to mess up

This episode was only one hour and I think that caused all the average performances. Average meaning, bad and not funny. I enjoy the great performances and the funny ones. This one had awful ones that weren't a tad bit humorous. There was a handful of funny contestants, but nothing I really remember, nothing that is really worth it. There were though a pinch of very great performances and they were the kind of performances you remember. Memphis, was not a good audition, although it was better than Seattle on standards, but hands down Seattle was a lot more funnier than TN.

In Memphis where the King lived and at his Graceland

Very good show and was laughing out loud so much

Everybody pretty much stinked except for some as only two or three made it to the final round. But hey, it is only just getting very started indeed. Can't wait for more.

This episode was so funny especialy the guy who was singing and dancing in the same time who acted like he was Micheal Jackson or Elvis. This city was filled with many surprises because sence it was the city where Elvis lived many people were dressede like him and tried to sing like him but they could'nt. Their was one person who auditioned that was real good his dad used to be a singer and he sang the blues, I think that guy will go far in American Idol. Overall this episode was a great and funny episode and they did find good talent in that city.
  • 1 hour is not enough time!!

1 hour is not enough time when you do an audition show. At the end of the hour we find out all these folks made it, but we only saw a two or three make it, and the rest of the show were the horrible singers that make you laugh and shake your head. One guy pulled a towel out of his pants, and the purpose for that was what? Someone had multi-colored hair, looked horrible. Memphis was probably the worst audition city by far. Again you have to ask who are the people lying to folks saying they can sing? But it makes for a good laugh.

I thought the episode was good, but lacked with only one hour you would think they would have had some better auditions then the ones that they opted to show us. There were a couple of times where I laughed, but for the most part the auditions were a little repeative and a little boring at times. The auditions are usually funnier and there were only a couple of times where I thought it was funny. I couldnt believe that they let the jesus look a like in. I thought he was terrible and will not make it anywhere in hollywood. The episode was good, but not the best audition series Ive seen on American Idol
