    Yes, he\'s gone! Ace may be hot, but his singing was getting worse and worse. Sorry Ace fans, he had to go. That was the good part. The bad part? (This is why the episode is rated a five instead of a ten.)Chris was in the bottom three! No!! I couldn\'t believe it! My mouth dropped open when Ryan Seacrest said that Elliot had chosen correctly, and the bottom three group was comprised of Ace, Paris, and Chris! Luckily Chris had enough votes, and he is still in the running! (I think he and Kathryn McPhee will be the final two.)moreless

    i already knew the result in advance so i merely watch this to see taylor rolling his eye when kellie hugged him. and it indeed worths the torture of seeing my poor, underrated paris being in the bottom 3. can't blame taylor...i would do the same if i were him. dunno why but to me katharine looks increasingly immodest...she looks extremely unpleasant before being told she's in the safe group and overreacts when hugging taylor. i know i'll get 10 users disagreeing with me in this, but i'm just telling what i saw. paris on the other hand looks very poised, although she certainly realised she should've been in the top 3. and chris should've been replaced by kellie. i bet my house we're going to endure kellie at least for 2 more weeks and poor paris will go home first.moreless

    this episode could be perferct for me if paris wasn't be in the bottom 3... my beloved kelly should be there!.

    please kelly improve your performances!!! and win your placee in the show with talent!!!. i know that kelly haves the charm, but i need to see the talent!

    This episode was crazy! First of all Paris and Chris did not deserve to be in the bottom three! They are two of the best in the competition.(mostly chris) I think Chris was in the bottom three because, yes he proved simon wrong, and sung incredible, but he picked a song that a lot of people would find boring.

    I don\'t know why Kellie WAS NOT in the bottom three! Was american drunk when they were watching this? Ace was better than Kellie, but it was obvious that he was going home soon, so I can\'t disagree with him leaving the show. I do think however that it should have been kellie this week, and ace next week.

    Now that I see Chris, one of my favs in the bottom three I am going to get of my butt and vote!!moreless

  • The episode of the American Idol was a nerve cracking for all participants. Like any other election based competition, you dont know who will be eliminated after the superb performance on t6he previous night. Shocking elimination has occured although maymoreless

    The Idols were great performing the style of their craft. Most of them came back to their own roots and its a a bang for Chris to go mellow. Thats very nice shocking scene although that presented his versatility. His song rendition of the wonderful world was great. However in the voted off... he is on the bottom three, personally, I thought it was Pickler, its nice that it wasn\\\'t her coz my favorite. Go, Chris, you can still ROCK-ON. The ending performance of Kat was superb and really one of the best contender for the coveted crown. I wonder during the episode whether Mr. Cowell was sick or on drugs coz he seems nice during the performance but as ever he has a very good sense of judgement and from my opinion, he really knows his craft. Unfortunately, Ace has to go, atleast before he go he can still play what Mr. Simon Cowell comment during his performance before the vote off.moreless

    • Ford music video: "Kinds in America" by Kim Wilde. All the Idols are posters or billboards advertising their concerts, that come to life and sing as a car drives down the street. The car arrives at a red carpet and all the Idols get out.

    • Ryan did not mention how many votes there were.

    • There was no group number.

    • Ryan split the contestants into two groups of three. Kellie, Elliott and Katharine were in one and Chris, Ace and Paris were in the other. He announced Taylor was safe and asked him to join the group he thought was safe. He went over to shake Chris' hand and Ryan said sorry (to tell him he was wrong) but then Taylor joined the other group, to which Ryan announced he had made the right choice.

    • Ryan asked Rod what his next album would be and Rod said it would be more covers only of classic rock and roll songs. Ryan said that maybe the show would do that theme next year and have him return. Ryan even looked out to Nigel Lythgoe, the main producer of the show, and he noded his head, saying they would, however the show never did a theme of that in season 6.
