  • America got it wrong! I think that Haley should have been eliminated. Chris Sligh was the best that season. What was America thinking?

    Okay now. America got it wrong. Sanjaya's had bad performances but, they kept him. Chris Sligh's my Season 6 favorite and they got rid of him. I think they got the bottom 3 right if they switched Phil and Sanjaya around. The bottom 2 should have been Haley and Sanjaya. I don't like Sanjaya but, I don't like Haley as much so I would eliminate Haley. I was happy about some of these people safe though. Gina, Jordin, LaKisha, and Melinda all deserved to be safe. Blake and Chris R. weren't the best or the worst but, deserved to be safe. Phil didn't have his best performance but, should have been safe. Sanjaya was definately not good enough and deserved to be in the bottom 3 but, was safe. Chris Sligh was my favorite Season 6 but, he didn't have a good performance and deserved to be in the bottom 3 but, not eliminated. Haley deserved to be in the bottom 3. Deserved to be in the bottom 2 but, deserved to be eliminated. That's just my opinion of course. Feel free to tell me your opinions. It's my first review so it wasn't good.moreless

  • Elimination rounds always seem to bug me when I watch this show. But it didn't for me at this episode.

    It wasn't that surprising that Chris Sligh left. He did bad on this week and that's what made him the boot. The bottom 3 was pretty spot on. Except that I would take away Phil and replace him with you know who. Gwen Stefani's performance was dreadful. Her singing is actually bad live. To all you No Doubt/Gwen fans, does she always sings this way during live performances? It had no point that Akon would perform with her, but since he's the "woohoo" part of the song, then so be it.moreless

    Oh my goss this is so retarted the vote the worste thing is gettting out of hand I am so sick of this vote the worste thing good people are going home and he is in there spot and he is so clue less I can not beleive this howard sten is just loving this but I think that it is horrid that I have to watch this kid every week i also want to see how long this thing will keep up there are not any people that I djust love form this season like I have with carrie and chrismoreless

  • Between Chris Daughtry being voted off last season and having to suffer watching Sanjaya this season. I am not sure if I will continue to watch "American Idol" next season.

    After watching "American Idol" for these past five, now going on six seasons, I find the last two seasons being so discouraging that I am not sure if I will continue to watch this show next season. Last season I seen ultimate talent in Chris Daughtry, real music of today. He was somebody I knew who could and would go far and still looks like he will. But when Chris D. was voted off I could not believe it. I barely gave "American Idol" another chance, and now week after week I've watched people get voted off that still had another week to shine and improve their selves. Plus I have to endure being tortured by someone on stage that does not deserve to be there in the first place. We all know who that is! Tonight Ryan Seacrest even encouraged the mohawk-hair-do putting us out in TV land to almost lose our dinner. Why did the judges put him in the final group, it does not make any sense. This show is very important to the truly talented who are performing. They are putting their future on the line. To be compared with or lose to someone with no talent is very belittling. Also for more accurate voting maybe "American Idol" could try another system on how the voting takes place.moreless

    What has happened to this show? Did Ryan Seacrest really need to fuel the Sanjaya fire any further? Chris S. was showing show weakness and needed to go, but he was still way better than Sanjaya. For Sanjaya, not to be at least in the bottom three it is unbelievible. I think the producers need to work out a new voting formula. One person suggested having each of the judges have a 25% vote, and having all of "America's vote" count as 25%. I like the idea except this leaves too many opportunitues for ties. I think they should have one positive vote for your favorite and one Negative vote for least favorite. This gives us all he opportunity to VOTE OFF people that shouldn't be on it, and also forces the idiots that are voting for the worst person to have to pick someone to get off has well.

    Everyone knows Sanjaya shouldn't be this far, as everyone knew Antonella shouldn't have gone as far as she did. It is so ridiclous that a person who butchered No Doubt's song, and even forgot the lyrics midway is still in it. How can all of those Sanjaya fans defend that? I mean c'mon. The dude forgot the lyrics, and even Gwen Stefani herself noticed during rehearsals. Truly a sad thing.

    Also, what was up with AKON? He was completely useless, and did nothing for the Gwen's performance at all. This show is becoming a complete joke.moreless
