    i thought chris would be a SHOE-IN to be in the final two. my mom & i were so pissed when he was sent home. do not get me wrong, we were thrilled that taylor won (hell, i even voted for him the night before the finale), but damn it, he deserved to SWEEP this competition. rock music will NEVER get the respect it deserves. :(

    This is what makes American Idol lose a lot of viewers. Chris, the one expected to take home the gold, was kicked off. I heard that the people (or the "guy") who tallys all the votes has the right to change who is first and who is last. Also, I heard that since Chris is married and has two children, he cannot "flirt" with the ladies due to the fact that he is married and has children, as too Katherine McPhee, who is not married. I do not think Katherine McPhee should have been paired up with Chris in the bottom two, because a lot of people, like me, had both of them in their final twos. They both are great singers, but Chris should not have been kicked off. That is what you call a "rip-off!"moreless

    Chris should have not been voted off. And the way Ryan said it, I was waiting for him to say \"just kidding.\" Chris, along with Bo Bice, Josh Gracin and George Huff, is one of the best male singers ever to be on American Idol. The votes need to be recounted because someone screwed up.

    Call me deaf, but I am exhilarated that Chris left, I did not like him at all ... Naturally, I support Katharine, and since she showed that she beated Chris and removed him from the competition, I believe she will be able to be, at least, in the final 2!

    Taylor will, naturally, win, after the painful (not for all) departure of Chris Daughtry. However, it is undoubtely that the three of them would eventully become famous!

    This competition has become intensitve and mind-consuming, and it is now unpredicable to fathom who is going to win the competition. This week's elimination proved that all the rumors and predictions may be wrong!moreless

    This was shocking. Katherine and Chris in the bottom 2, then in moments, Chris was sent packing. The most shocking elimination episode ever. I thought that Chris' rendition of Suspicious Minds was awesome, mostly because I love that song. Taylor and Elliot were safe yet again. Good for Elliot, he sang his heart out the other night and America must have noticed. I thought he did the best that entire night. Well, good luck to the final 3, may the best win this competition.moreless
