I think that first of all, Haley has a lot Of potential and glad that she wasn't sent home

Or else I would had been pretty mad. She just needs

Some time and lots of practice to really get to where

She is. However, Brandon I wasn't surprised to see go home.

He was just wasn't that talented IMHO!

Well the singing wasn't anything special. This season hasn't been very good. I don't know how much longer this show will go on. I have been watching this show ever since it started and after season 3, it just lost it's spark that it had the first 2 seasons. One thing that really ticked me off is the result show. I really didn't think Brandon was spectacular but he deserved to stay more than Sanjaya. Sanjaya is probably the worst singer I have ever seen make the top 12, well now 11. Another thing that ticked me off is that Phil was in the bottom 3. He is probably one of the strong singers on the show. All I got to say is that if this keeps going on........no season 7 next year. Or at least no successfull season 7 next year.

I can't say I'm really emotional about Brandon leaving. I mean, he was

good, sure, and he had some potential but I think the inevitable just

happened a little sooner than everyone was expecting. Brandon was

never going to make it too far in the competition and I think he even

knew that. I'm glad that Sanjaya didn't get offed this round because I

really want him to make it to the Top 10 so he can be on tour and suck

there too. And I'm glad Haley wasn't even in the Bottom Three because

I really think she has some potential and she just has to get over her

nerves and find her place on the American Idol stage.

Next weeks Top 11 should be good.
  • Why didn't Sanjaya go home!?!?

It was a good episode and all, with the famous singer singing, but why didn't Sanjaya go home? I mean now people are making sites like "SaveSanjaya" and "VoteForTheWorst" That is just plain stupid. The two people that deserved to go home the most were Haley and Sanjaya, but Haley didn't make it into the bottom 3 so Sanjaya should've gone home. I mean in the past weeks did you see the looks on his face when he realized he was safe? It's like he had no belief in him self! One thing I liked though that Gina was safe! She's my favorite and deserved to stay in. So it was an ok epsiode.

Look! I am not gonna say much. I want to end this review as quick as I can. It is pathetic. I mean even if you were voting for Sanjaya just to be funny it should have stopped this week. He sings so softly and claims he is shy. Then he changes his har to look like Shirly Temple. Give me a break... does he want to get voted off because he hasn't sung good since the audition stages. Highlight of the Night was when Diana Ross sang. Sanjaya just upsets me so much; I just have no clue who would vote for him.
  • Well the top twelve is now a top 11, and i can't the say the verdict was great. Let's see which direction this show is heading in...read on

American Idol has lost its color. Last year Taylor Hicks won, i did not understand that. But this year, there are actually some really good singers. sanjaya malakar started weith a great audition, but then i dunno, as weird as the hair got, so did the singing. and i have no idea how he's getting votes, but he's getting them. Maybe one day he'll be able to prove the world rong and sing well. back to the contestants, However, they're not really getting to be ostentatious because they're being forced to sing songs which dont really suit them. Almost all the contestants were going for something contemporary, and the judge's completely ripped them apart. at least when you sing a queen song, you have got tons of variety and different instruments to work with. here, i didnt even enjoy one song. i just lvoed the on-pitchness of osme of the singers.I enjoyed some of the songs, not all of them, but they were good. But when Diana Ross sang, i mean i liked some of her songs, but i could not even hear her sing. I know the judges couldnt say anything to her considering her status, but i mean, they had no right to say anything to anyone else for changing the songs so that they would appeal to the people. Another thing i dont get is why haley scarnato is still here. She messed up her lines. If brandon who had to be in the bottom three, then so did she, cause at least his voice is solid among the guys...you can't even compare her to the other girls. She went in against sabrina, who was so fun to watch sing, and was again contemporary. American idol has had what, 4 contestants singing country? Its a show that is watched worldwide, the appeal should be for everyone. I mean, when was the last time you heard taylor hicks sing on pitch? i really like Simon Cowell's reviews. I almost agree with everything he says. He's crisp, but tells the truth, and that's great, sometimes its positive feedback. Randy on the other hand is ruddde, he laughs, makes up his own jibberish language. I know no one has no idea what simon does, but i can say he has more of a clue about singing than simon does. and since when is paula critical? is it american idol's attempt at being different? and saying "you're so beautiful" is just a hypocritical statement to say after you have said to the crowd , "this is a singing contest", after sanjaya malakar slimes his way week after week. maybe this show should should try a new voting system. vote for the bottom 3, but then the judges choose who goes. That's much better, cause at least simon will make the right decision. the right decision is pretty clear right now tho...SANJAYA MALAKAR...and then haley scarnato. that's clear. Brandon was good. he didnt deserve to go. Well, lets hope better comes. till thn i m rooting for girls: prety much anyoen but haley, and guys anyone but phil and sanjaya.
  • Why is Sanjaya still in the competition??

This is the first result show of the Top 12. I am really mad that Sanjaya is still in the competition. Although, I am happy that he was in the bottom 2. Brandon Rogers was eliminated. The bottom 3 was Phil, Brandon, and Sanjaya. Haley should of been in the bottom 3 instead of Phil. Diana Ross performed last night and she didn't do her best. I liked her a long time ago, but I don't enjoy her singing now. All of the girls were safe. The bottom 3 should of been Sanjaya, Haley, and Chris Sligh. Brandon really shouldn't of gone so soon. Sure he forgot his words, but so did Haley and she was safe.
  • There were twelve, one goes home, Diana Ross sings unimpressively.

The previous night's show was for the most part filled with lackluster performances. I could see 9 of the 12 going home. Three of them forgot their words, two rearranged songs to nothing exceptional and on this show Diana Ross performed Spiral Stairacse's "More Today Than Yesterday." Although I thought Diana's input into the idol contestants' upcoming performances were very helpful and inciteful, I thought her performance of this song was somewhere in the middle of the pack of the 12 contestants trying to become Idol #6. To top off the disappointment in this episode's quality and entertainment value, Sanjaya did not go home. Well, there's always next week,
  • No lose, great performances and Sanjaya still around?

The night starts off with the top 12 performing a Diana Ross song together and I liked it. They did a really good job with that performance.

After the break, Ryan announces that Phil Stacey and Brandon Rogers are in the bottom 3. And then the show takes another break. (Annoying)

After another break, Diana Ross performs, we have the American Idol challenge and into another commerical break we go.

One last spot on the bottom 3. Will it be Sanjaya or Haley? Shockingly, Sanjaya takes the spot. Phil is revealed to be safe. Brandon is finally revealed to be the one to go home.

I didn't like the episode. It felt so rushed.
  • It's bye bye bye for Brandon Rogers

    "Great"
First of all I have to say that Diana Ross looks hot for her age. Unfortunately I didn't think her singing was that hot.

Back to the eliminations. Bottom 3:-

    1) Brandon

    2) Phil

    3) Sanjaya

Phil is safe and that leaves us with bottom 2. Sanjaya, he's .... SAFE. Brandon goes home.

I've got 2 out of 3 right, as I thought Haley should be in the bottom 3 instead of Phil.

Although I didn't think Brandon would last that long in the competition anyway, he shouldn't have been eliminated before Sanjaya. If only he had not forgotten the lyrics, maybe he would stay on for another week.

Poor Sanjaya. I think this guy is all ready to go home and he seems confused as to why he's still in. I didn't like the fact that the audience booed as he walked back to his seat. He knows he is the weakest singer there, but someone out there obviously likes him enough to keep him in the competition. All I can say is, he is one BRAVE 17 year old to put up with the hostility of people who don't like seeing him there.
  • Another One Goes Home!

Not bad! Not Amazing Either! Diana Ross was wonderful, loved her performance and the song. The Judges were so cute, i love Simon's shirt! Finally, a new style. The Top 12 became Top 11: Brandon Rogers goes home, which is somewhat a shame. He has talent, but didn’t know how to use it to his advantage. He forgot his words and sunk to the bottom of the ocean. I think he’s way better than Sanjaya though. Don’t get me wrong, I really like Sanjaya as a person. I mean he’s real sweet and everything, But COME ON! When shall the torture end? Well, I think we’ll just have to wait and see.
  • Buh-bye to Brandon Rogers!

I am very happy that Brandon left tonight! Its not only because he forgot the words, its just his voice didn't reach the american idol standard, and he deserved to go home. So no shocker tonight, thank god! But like I said last night lucky Sanjaya that Brandon did forget his words to his song, because if it wasn't for that, Sanjaya would be going home right about now.

Not too much that you can say about the thirty minute episode where someone gets cut. Not only that, but the rating yuou give it usually depends on if you agree with the person that got cut or not. More on that later...I thought that the twelve person group performance was really well done. I like how they had the guys go and then the girls. The guys didnt sound half bad, but the girls still took the cake.

    6 Males - C

    6 Females- A

Diane Ross's performance was okay. Ive never listened to any of her stuff but it was pretty good. Bottom Three

Phil - Deserved to be there

    Brandon- Deserved to be there

    Sanjaya- Deserved to be there

Brandon did forget the words, but Sanjaya is still awful. Sanjaya better go next week...Either way, America got it right this time.
