      • This episode featured the very first Ford music video (which is now a weekly thing). The song was "Mustang Sally" byMack Rice. The video was Josh driving a car and Kimberly Caldwell being stranded with her motorcycle. Josh stops to help and she steals his car, but then comes back and picks him up. This only featured the two contestants when usually the video features all of them, however all the contestants sang the song.

      • There were 2 Group Numbers tonight. The first was "Where The Blacktop Ends" by Keith Urban and the other one (sung twice) was "God Bless The U.S.A." byLee Greenwood. The second one was an homage to the fact that there was a war going on.

      • Burt Bacharach returned to work with the season 2 contestants and re-recorded his song "What The World Needs Now is Love", to be put on his charity CD. Also the contestants would later record the song "God Bless The U.S.A." that they preformed that night also to be sold for charity.

      • It was widely reported in articles that Kimberly Caldwell wasn't really in the bottom 3 this week. There was a phone problem on her line. During the first hour of voting, nobody could get their votes in for her. But, the producers decided to just put her in the bottom 3, so there could be a last "head to head" with Julia and Kim C.

      • The people along with Julia DeMato in the bottom three were Kimberley Caldwell and Ricky Smith. This was Ricky and Kimberly's first time in the bottom 3. This was Julia's 3rd time in the bottom three, and her last.

      • This results show is an hour long, but begins at its normal time: 8:30 eastern.
