  • Trivia

    • Like often at this stage, Ryan revealed the results by making two groups of two (James and Haley on one side and Lauren and Jacob on the other side) and then announced that Scotty was safe and to pick which side he also believed was safe, to which Scotty refused.

    • Lady Antebellum performed "Just a Kiss" and Jennifer Lopez Ft. Pitbull performed "On The Floor". This is the second time that a Judge has performed on the Idol stage, the first being Paula Abdul in Season 8. There was also a trailer video for Jennifer's newest single "I'm Into You". This is her second music video shown this season and the third time a Judge has shown a music video (although unlike the other two, this wasn't the full video, just a clip).

    • The Group Number was "Happy Together" by The Turtles.

    • The Ford Music Video was "Be Yourself" by Morcheeba. The Idols are showing off their talents. Jacob is singing, James is juggling and balancing a chair on his chin, Lauren is throwing cards at a board and making a diamond shape, Scotty is doing a wheelie. Haley pulls up and parks her car without having to touch the steering wheel.

    • After his elimination, Jacob sang "A House Is Not a Home" by Dionne Warwick.

    • There were 60 million votes.

    • When Ryan was reading Lauren's critique there was a weird buzzing like noise.

    • When Ryan was talking before the Ford Video was shown for a few seconds some music could be heard playing.

    • Ryan goofed up Lady Antebellum's name when he was first mentioning that they would be performing.

    • Voted Off: Jacob Lusk

    • Bottom 2: 2. Lauren Alaina
      1. Jacob Lusk

    • With Jacob's elimination, this season ties for the most amount of boys in a row eliminated (4) with Season 4.
