    • TRIVIA (8)

      • A video was shown of the Idols watching a tape of Lady Gaga performing "You and I". Enrique Iglesias performed "Dirty Dancer" and "I Like It". During "Dirty Dancer" a video of Usher singing his part was shown and Pitbull's part of "I Like It" was used in the backtrack. Jordin Sparks performed "I Am Woman" and a music video for "(It) Feels Good" by Steven Tyler was shown. This is the third different Judge to premiere a music video on Idol, and the second time this season (three including the preview for Jennifer's last week).

      • The Ford Music Video was "Fireflies" by Owl City. The contestants used some sort of magic marker that left neon lights as the swooshed to make pictures of things.

      • There was no Group Number tonight. Instead there were two duets. The songs sung tonight were: James Durbin & Scotty McCreery: "Start a Band" by Brad Paisley & Keith Urban
Lauren Alaina & Haley Reinhart: "Gunpowder & Lead" by Miranda Lambert

      • After being eliminated James sang "Maybe I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney. After Ryan closed the show the band played the song, as suppose to the typical theme music being played.

      • After Jordin Sparks' performance there was some feedback.

      • There were 72 million votes.

      • Voted Off: James Durbin

      • Bottom 3: No Bottom 3 as results were given at random
