American Idol

There appears to be significant talent competing this year, however, the show desperately needs Simon Cowell back in the judges chair. The performers are experiencing a love fest the likes we have never seen in the history of the show and I have to say it is a bit of a bore. When the judges are raving about a particular performance, Naima Adedapo or Haley Reinhart for example, I often wonder if they are hearing the same thing I am. Those two, in particular, are often so pitchy, they are hard to listen to. Simon Cowell would not have accepted the missed notes as readily as the current judges panel. I must say Jennifer Lopez is certainly a lot better than Paula ever was and she is so gorgeous, I'm glad to have her as a judge. If we can't have Simon back, please find someone who going to take a much harsher approach to the judging process.
