Lisa and paris you are so darn cute and deserve everything you get.Work hard at everything you do and never give-up. Paris, you should already now what it feels like to be in the spotlight and if you work hard enough you will continue to shine. Lisa, girl you were just born with the gene.

only 3 girls are really good. Mandisa is excellent, paris is awesome, and lisa...man, that girl got lungs! kinnik is actually good but like simon said she's overshadowed by these 3. It was raining heavily in my place when Katherine sang so I didn't get to hear her voice. overall not as good as the top 12 from last season, but still a good show if not because of Brenna. I absolutely LOATHE her. and she can't even sing. I can't believe that she made it as far as the top 10...in fact, i'm surprised that she could get away to the top 12 in the first place. Would love to see what she would do if she's ousted this week...now that's an excellent show!

I don't think the girls are as good this year as they were last year. There are a few that I like though. I really like Paris, Kellie, and Katherine. I think Paris and Katherine have two of the best voices in the competition, and I really like Kellie because she is so sweet, and has such a great personality.

Some performances rocked, while others sucked, and some were in the middle, just the way I like it! Randy and his dog pound knew who was true to talent, while Paula was a big softy! Simon told it like it is as always, I was ticked when Paula interuppted him defending the contestants, when he tells them what I'm dying for him to say! I also can't stand it how the crowd booed him after he gave out the negative comments, was the crowd just friends and family of the contestants, and some possibly even groupies? I know, as a viewer, that Simon is almost always right.

Although I agree that the entertainer's ability to engage the audience is important, the MOST important factor in becoming a star is singing ON KEY. I always listen to part of the singing with my eyes and way too many of these women were off key. I found myself squinting my eyes. No one who sings a single note off key should be a winner. This is the big time folks.



In general, I don't think the women this year are very good. We shall see. There were a couple exceptions though and they should advance easily. Oh and I am tired of the singers playing to the camera. It is so unprofessional and self-serving when there is a live audience. They should play to the people there, not the camera.

I can't believe this show is actually going to last 4-5 more years. Honestly the only reason I watched last night, nothing else was one I watned to watch. The show was okay. Paris had the best performance by far. I mean she was energetic, sang awesome. I liked Mandeesa also.



There were a couple of girls who sang off pitch in some areas. The song Stevie Scott sang, I did not like it at all. I thought she sounded horrible. Brenna I don't like her. She is too arrogant for her own good and just annoys me. I'm thinking bottome two will be Stevie and Melissa.



Will be interesting how the guys do tonight.

American Idol has produced more female talents than male talents, except for season two with Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard.



So I was not suprised to see/hear that the girls were very good, with a few sour notes. I was truly amazed with the younger girls, but I can't remember their names right now. The girl at the end was also excellent. I did miss the first 30 minutes of the show, so I can't really tell you much about that first girl, but from the small clip at the end, I thought she sounded brilliant.



Clay Aiken had such a powerful voice; I really wanted to see if any of them has such a voice tomorrow. But more likely, I have to study for Biology Test, and I will miss it. :(
