There is now a new website for the show, which is just its name and than ".com" as suppose to idolonfox (than .com).

As of this episode Mandisa's name on the screen shows only her first name. Despite her saying her name was "just Mandisa" during her audition it always had her full name (Mandisa Hundley). She is the second person on American Idol to go by just one name, but the first to use her first name. The other was season 2's Trenyce (which was her middle name).

In the first four seasons the the semi finals were always a one hour performance episode and a half hour results episode. This season is a little different, with the first week being 2 hour performance episode, the second week an hour and a half and the last week an hour and all results shows are an hour.
