  • Whoa. Besides a couple of people, not that great.

Let me just say first off that the reason I didn't rate this lower was because this was their first performance, and nerves may have gotten in the way. But even then, based on some of these people's performances, it'll be tough to understand how the hell they got through.

I'll start with the good. Casey James probably did the best performance. His was pretty low-key, but he hit just about all of his notes and put on a good performance, PLUS he's a great musician. Andrew Garcia, despite what the judges said, did a good performance, even if it wasn't as poweful as his audition or Hollywood week. In comparison to the rest of the guys, he was great. John Park showed he can sing, although they sort of chastised him too for being boring (which I agree with).

However, the rest were just mediocre and worse. The judges seemed to enjoy Aaron Kelly and the song he did, but I heard something completely different. He had a thin voice that only could be seen as impressive because of the loud and high notes he tried to hit. But his voice was shaky and he seemed uncomfortable. Same with Alex Lambert, who I was looking forward to hearing but was ultimately disappointed with. I can't even begin to talk about how bad Tim Urban and Jermaine Sellers were.. It was just a disappointing night.

Once again, I rarely agreed with the judges. Oh well. Hopefully next week, all the guys can step it up because the girls completely dominated.moreless
