  • Taylor really knows how to put on a show. I would watch just for him.

Last night I watched as Taylor put on what i believe to be one of the best shows ever. His enthusiasm for what he does is so great that he makes you want to watch and listen. I don't think that her could put on a bad perfomance.

Katherine on the other hand really gets on my nerves. Yes she had a moment with "Somewhere over the rainbow", but does that mean she shouldn't go home. She is way to immature to sing the songs she chooses and she chooses them for the wrong reasons. I just think she needs to live a little first.

Elliot puts everything he has into each and every performance. His last song though was my favorite. I am not sure if he is "star" material, but hey weirder things have happened.

I think this was one of the best semi-final shows of American Idol. (minus Katherine)moreless
  • I still have no idea who will make it to the finale.

Elliot - First song was okay; second song was also okay but kinda boring; third song was my favorite. I still think he has a shot in winning this.

Katharine - First song was waaaaaaay over the top - too much vocal acrobatics, I couldn't recognize the melody; second song was, to quote Randy Jackson, "the bomb"; third song was okay. I can't help but notice the expression on her face everytime she gets a negative comment from the judges. It's like she doesn't understand why they're giving her that kind of criticism.

Taylor - First song was great; second song was good; third song was also good but had that crazy ending. I half expected the microphone to explode with that shouting. He's still painful too watch, but I can't deny the fact that he's a very talented singer.

Who do I think will make it through? I really don't know. Like I said, I'm rooting for Kat, but I'd like to see a guy win this year. But to tell you the truth, it doesn't matter who wins from these three. I like them all anyway (except for Taylor's moves).moreless
  • Interesting.

First song, I was completely blown away by Eliot and thought that he really has a chance to win it, with both this week\'s and last week\'s performances. I thought Taylor\'s Bruce song was great. I was very disappointed with Katharine\'s \"I Believe I Can Fly,\" because I thought she went way over the top.

Second song, I was unimpressed by Eliot. Again, Taylor did a great job. But Katharine was utterly phenomenal. Starting out a cappella was brave and a great move. I liked how she didn\'t overdo it, and even the accompaniment was understated.

Third song, I again did not think much of Eliot\'s performance. Taylor was great, and I liked Katharine\'s the best. I thought it was a good song choice, even though the judges weren\'t thrilled by it. I think based on these three performances, Eliot should go home.moreless
  • Taaylor is painful to watch.

    What to say about Taylor....

They shouldn't let him dance. He looks like an old man.

When he sings, he kind of crouches down and looks like he needs to take a dump or something.

And he wears the same outfit every time he sings! It always looks exactly the same. Could they alter it a little bit? I know it's not about the clothes but coem on!

I usually don't watch this but as I watched KAtharine sing I noticed that when she sings, she looks pretty. A weird thing to say, but if you look at famous women singers, many of them do not look pretty when they sing becaue of the way they open their mouths. Jessica Simpson is one, MAraih Carey, and others lookf funny,. But KAt doesn't.

    That's all. Tdakoo out!moreless
  • Interesting, to me, that when the three remaining finalists were left to choose their own song, Taylor chose perfectly.

I think he knows himself, and knows music. I think that\'s why he is so pleasing to me, and to many others. I think he\'s going to surprise a lot of people and win this whole thing.

Kat was wonderful during \"Over the Rainbow\". Amazing. She is gorgeous and has a beautiful voice. I don\'t think she\'s lived enough life to know how to sing a song with feeling. When she\'s singing about having the blues, she has this pleased with the world smile on her face. She has a career ahead of her, but I think she needs to mature.

Elliott has a nice voice. He\'s never convinced me that he is a star.

I\'d go to a Taylor concert. I\'d buy a Taylor CD. I\'d watch him on television. His voice is smoky and appealing, and he knows his stuff. His biggest allure, in my opinion, is his enthusiasm for his craft. We could all learn something from Taylor.moreless
