Instead of the hosts having a little speech at the beginning there was a voice over by an unknown person (mostly likely an employee of FOX). This continues for the remainder of the season.
The contestant who goes through and fills the tenth and final spot is R.J. Helton.
In one of the special videos the contestants made they are fighting over the chair then they all leave. R.J. comes back and steals the chair. Funny thing is he wound up winning the chair and final spot in the top 10.
This was the first and only show this season where the contestants performed live and got the results in the same show. After all five contestants performed, the judges deliberated live on the air, while the five waited behind closed doors.
