America's Newsroom

Show Summary

America's Newsroom, which first debuted in February of 2007, is a news program on the Fox News Network. News presented on the show is either part of the "National Desk" program or the "World Desk" program. Similar to many other news programs on cable news networks, opposing viewpoints are represented by reporters and pundits in various parts of country, often times in a split-screen discussion. Currently hosted by Bill Hemmer and Martha MacCallum, America's Newsroom features a segment called "Because You Asked" in which viewers can email in their questions and have them answered by the hosts. Produced daily, the show presents soft news and hard-hitting political news side by side in a fast paced, high-energy manner. Taped in New York City, America's Newsroom is a two-hour news program that draws an average of a million and a half viewers. The show replaced Fox News Live, which ended its run in 2008.
