    • Call out order:

      Joanie
      Furonda
      Nnenna
      Sara
      Danielle

Jade and Brooke are in the bottom two; Jade for seeming fake and Brooke for not living up to her model potential despite many chances to do so. Brooke is sent home.

    • The challenge this week was for the girls to deal with a very critical agent. Jade won and picked Nnenna to share her prize, which was a visit from a loved one; for Jade it was her mother, for Nnenna it was her boyfriend, John.

    • The title refers to Joanie because she got surgery to fix her snaggle-tooth.

    • The Girls' Doll Shoot:

      Brooke - Glam Doll
      Danielle - Marionette
      Furonda - Rag Doll
      Jade - Mannequin
      Joanie - Ventriliquist Dummy
      Nnenna - Baby Doll
      Sara - Teen Doll

  • Quotes

    • Tyra: Jade, you stand before me not because of bad pictures. But you know what I saw when you were tearing up? Somebody that was very...(searches for the right word)... fake.

    • (going through her portfolio)
Joanie: This is one of my best shoots to date.
      Deprise: This one? Yech.

  • Notes

    • Original International Air Dates:
      Australia: January 21, 2008 on Network 10
Czech Republic: January 8, 2012 on Prima LOVE

    • Despite what was seen on the show, Joanie's teeth were not fixed so quickly. According to her MySpace page and an interview on The Tyra Banks Show, the whole process actually took 6 months. What we saw on the show was Joanie receiving one piece temporaries, which she wore until the competition was over. She had Veneers permanently cemented to her real teeth once the extractions had healed six months later.

    • In this episode Danielle chooses not to have the gap in her teeth closed, to which the panel tells her she'll never be a model unless she fixes it. Everyone seems to be forgetting Lauren Hutton, a supermodel in the 70's and 80's who has a pronounced gap in her teeth. Far from holding her back, it became her trademark.
