Photoshoot: The photo was very close up to show off the diamond rings and spider brooches each of the girls was wearing. A live tarantula was also placed somewhere on the girl's face, arm, or hand.
This episode is named for Eva who became panicked when she learned that the photo shoot would involve posing with live tarantulas.
Yaya won the competition which who did the best on the Red Carpet. As a prize, she was treated to a feast from chefs at the NU Kitchen. Yaya shared the prize with Norelle.
Call out order: Nicole Eva Amanda YaYa Norelle Ann and Toccara were in th bottom two. The judges felt Toccara was not showing enough life in her photos. She also seemed to have lost her vibrant personality that the judges loved so much. So they sent her home.
Tyra: Toccara, I knew from day one that you wanted this. That this was something that you lived and breathed, and was (snapping) f-a-b-o...I am fabulous and I want this so bad.
Toccara: I'm proud of myself. I'm the largest girl to get here and I made it this far. Someone has to start to break the barrier, so hopefully the next plus size girl that comes along, she makes it a little bit further. It's gonna take time, it doesn't happen over night. But I'm just grateful that maybe I made a path for someone else.
Tyra: Yaya, it was like you were on this pedestal and this hat smelt like dookie!
Tyra (To Yaya): You want your outfit to be, 'Look at me' and this outfit is 'Look over there'.
Nolé Marin (To Yaya): You're I feel... half African, half cowgirl. Looks like you're about to ride a giraffe.
Eva: I was petrified of this spider. Janice: Try posing on a live crocodile honey.
Eva: You see this face? This is a confused face!
Sarah Pyper: Who's the most annoying girl in the group? Eva: Everyone's equally annoying!
Eva: Everyone freakin' says to me that I'm a diva! So how do I not be a diva?
Toccara is the first contestant to be eliminated the same week she was voted Covergirl of the Week.
When Eva mentioned how scared she was of the spider, Janice tells her to try posing on a live crocodile. The girls would do exactly that in the next cycle in Africa.
Covergirl of the Week was Toccara.
Ann: Hello? McFly? Ann borrows a line from Back To The Future.
Rebecca: (about Ann's style) You're kinda...a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n roll. The song "I'm A Little Bit Country, I'm A Little Bit Rock 'N Roll" was a staple in The Donny And Marie Show in 1976.
Nolé (about YaYa): ...and in this photo it's kind of like a chocolate Barbarella with the hair. Barbarella is a 1968 movie starring Jane Fonda as a sexy space siren.
