Episode Summary

EDIT
Keenyah is starting to irritate the other contestants not only with her selfish behavior, but her contention that Naima isn't really "black". When Keenyah gets upset over a small honor she feels should have gone to herself and not Naima, she and Brittany get into a huge confrontation. Next, the models pose and dance with male models. One girl stops the shoot when she feels one of the men gets a little too friendly.moreless

  • Brittany? She\\\'s been the best this enire season and you\\\'re getting rid of her? Producers...stupid producers...

Okay, so they get to do some dancing. A lot of dancing. Yadda yadda yadda...oops! Keenyah just stopped the photoshoot because one of the male-models just caressed her leg! -gasp- sorry Keenyah but if you didn\\\'t notice, ALL of the models are doing that. Naima was fine, and so was Kahlen, and Brittany. Not our fault. This was just disappointing. I\\\'m sorry, but it was...Brittany was the best thing in this season. You saw it during her audition. You saw it during the panel. You saw her amazing Deliciously Tacky Dance, and of course you saw her with the teleprompter. She was really good, and seeing her leave just upset me. I thought Keenyah\\\'s time had come...I guess not.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (20)

    • Naima: There are four of us now and I think Keenyah and Brittany have made a friendship where they can support each other and Kahlen has been my best friend in this competition, she has been my emotional support.

    • Keenyah: Naima's personality is not very outgoing. People aren't going to relate to her as much as they relate to like Brittany or you know, to me.

    • Kahlen: The thing that annoys me with Keenyah is she doesn't put other people ahead of her. It's always Keenyah, Keenyah, Keenyah.

    • Kahlen: I don't think Keenyah's watching what she eats cos it's what the judges keep telling her. It's what they keep complaining about and I don't really see that much progress at all.

    • Brittany: I gotta say I do not know how this is gonna go.

    • Kahlen: You don't want me 'cos I can't dance.
      Brittany: I know.

    • Kahlen: When things get too hard on my life, you know, I give up because I don't wanna fail.

    • Naima: Kahlen let it builds and builds and builds, it made her feel even worse about herself.

    • Kahlen: There are times where, you know, ultimate and total humiliation is just something I don't want to throw myself into. I do a pretty good job of that by myself.

    • Kahlen: It's very nice to see Ms. J but I don't wanna dance in front of him.

    • Kahlen: So I guess I get picked last and I don't get anything. It's this some kinda small attack on me. What's going on? What is their motive for doing this? Are they, you know, just trying to get rid of me? I just hope that there is this competition goes by fast because it's just really starting to wear on me.

    • Brittany: Keenyah asked me if Nelson Mandela is even still alive and I was like, yeah so I didn't think that she knew much about him.

    • Brittany: I didn't even think Keenyah knew who he (Nelson Mandela) was. She doesn't know he is alive or not so I didn't understand why she's getting so emotional.

    • Brittany: Naima doesn't need 30 extra shots, she's a great dancer. She'll probably get it on the first shot.

    • Kahlen: I have a lot of pressure on me because I have less frames than the other girls and there are all these male models and that makes me a little uncomfortable and I can't dance.

    • Kahlen: When I do hear people yell and scream, I really do just wanna separate myself..

    • Janice: Kahlen, African birds have more rhythm.

    • Tyra (talking to Naima): You had a 100 shots but you didn't need a 100 shots. Somebody else behind you needed a 100 but not you.

    • Janice: Brittany has more personality than anybody in this entire country.

    • Naima: Keenyah's just like, "I'm black, I'm black" and this means a lot to me and I'm just like, "Well, Keenyah, don't you see me sitting here." Of course, I don't have dark brown skin but my father is black and mexican and indian and my mama's black and irish.

  • NOTES (2)

    • Original International Air Dates:
Czech Republic: October 9, 2011 on Prima LOVE

    • In this episode Kahlen says she doesn't know why she's so uncomfortable around men, but in a 2006 interview on The Tyra Banks Show she admitted she's a rape survivor. Three close friends assaulted her at a party and Kahlen didn't tell anyone for years.
