  • Melrose's first bottom two appearance

After the thirteen girls were chosen, they all participated in a catwalk where Melrose, won the first challenge. Her prize: a massage on her first photoshoot. Everyone did well, especially Michelle, the bulimic model. Melrose not so much. She had a massage and the make-up artists had to reapply makeup to her all over again and she was late on set. At the judging panel, wow, all these girls had to have their outfits and hair readjusted like Megg's dress and Christian's hair and dress. I loved the part when Melrose landed on the bottom 2. She was like crying and then she cried to the floor.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (3)

    • The designers for today were 'Elmer Ave'; Colin Pulsipher, Jonny Day, Ward Robinson and Sean Murphy.

    • This episode (along with part 1) is named after Monique, who "marks her territory" by pouring water over another girl's bed in order to get it for herself.

      A.J: "Casting couch model"
      Jaeda: "Plastic surgery model"
      Michelle: "Bulimic model"
      Amanda: "Anorexic model"
      Melrose: "$10,000 a day model"
      Anchal: "Narcissistic model"
      Monique: "Phone-throwing model"
      Brooke: "Backstabbing model"
      Megan: "Diva model"
      Caridee: "Dumb blonde model"
      Megg: "Drug-addictied model"
Eugena: "Black girl turned into white girl"

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Tyra (about Melrose's attitude during the shoot): I'm just so disappointed in her performance on the set. And to be talking back to Mr. Jay and flipping out and blaming this and blaming that. It's like, "Honey, this is the first week. You could be cut like that." If you're a bitch...hide it.

    • (after a photo shoot with food all over her hands)
      Michelle: High five!
      Jay Manuel: Ah...hell no.
      (he walks away)
Michelle: Come on, don't leave me hangin'!

    • CariDee (acting like a dumb blonde): Wow! This is the stuff I learned in, um...
      Jay Manuel: School?
      CariDee: Yes!
