Recurring Role |
Miss Jay's elimination "tribute" this season is to wear a ruffle for every girl that's sent home.
During the final runway walk at the Goodwill Fashion Show fundraiser, Kathleen, Brittany and Jael are in completely different outfits than the ones they wore in their first walk. All of the other contestants are in their original outfit.
Call out order:
Jaslene
Brittney
Felicia
Diana
Samantha
Cassandra
Renee
Sarah
Dionne
Whitney
Natasha
Jael and Kathleen were in the bottom two. Kathleen was eliminated because she seemed "clueless" during the photoshoot.
The first shoot of the season is about making a political statement:
Brittany - Pro-fur
Kathleen - Anti-fur
Natasha - Pro-choice
Jael - Pro-life
Sarah - Life in prison
Jaslene - Death penalty
Felicia - Straight marriage
Whitney and Samantha - Gay marriage
Dionne - Vegan
Cassandra - Pro-meat
Renee - Anti-gun
Diana - Pro-gun
Kathleen: (about her shoot) I felt like he explained it to me so much, him and Nigel. And I'm like--I don't want to seem slow, like I wasn't catching on.
Miss Jay: Well...
Kathleen: (laughing) I am not slow!
Twiggy: You kinda want to take Kathleen home and look after her.
J. Alexander: I don't.
Kathleen: I believe that if the animal's alive you shouldn't kill it to make a fur coat of anything, but if it's already dead than you can take the skin off and just make a coat.
Tyra: How would it already be dead? Like, uh . . .
Kathleen: Cuz animals fight each other in the jungle, right?
Twiggy: That's not--unfortunately, that's not how they get fur coats.
Kathleen: I think every model wants to date Nigel Barker, 'cuz he's so tall.
Kathleen: My theme today is anti-fur, like I hate fur. Actually, I really do like fur. I mean, it makes you look hot.
Miss Jay: She's downton passing for white, child.
This is an allusion to the 1959 tearjerker Imitation Of Life starring Lana Turner. Turner's character's maid has a light-skinned daughter that tries to pass for white.
