America's Next Top Model

This was good for a recap episode. It went over the key parts for people who had not seen it, or people who needed a refresher, and it had some interesting new footage. Most of the new footage isn't that important, but it does give you the opportunity to get to know the girls a little better. In some recap episode I can't tell what is old and what is new, but this one did a good job picking moments that stood out. The end made me even more excited to see what would happen next. It seems like they have a good group of girls in the top seven.

I really wish they would just make Top Model one week shorter because the recap episode is annoying. I don't like the drama anyway and to have a entire episode of nothing but drama irks me. The really obnoxious part about the whole thing - well there are two really obnoxious parts. One, they don't tell you at the end of the previous episode that the next one will be the recap. I get all excited about the new photo shoots and who is going to be going home. Now, I just have to wait another week for anything good to happen and this episode is taking up space in my TiVO. Two, they already showed the really good stuff, but they make it sound like this unaired footage is really worth watching. My advice - stick to twelve weeks or pick 14 girls so you have an actual 13 week run. Oh yeah. And don't send two people home in one episode.
