"Oh God, I looked at the wrong time!" As his lunch (a frog) gets bashed to death.

Hahaha my favourite was the one about the wall:

"The Great Wall goes on forever... but so does the M6!"

    LOL what an idiot.

I loved the Mexican episode! His wrestling was hilarious in itself. But the best quote of the episode had to be: "There's a load of bees here! Is anywhere safe?!"

I can't quote it, but some of the stuff he said about the wall in Palestine was actually pretty poignant. He actually gained a little respect from me at that moment.

From the opening: (about the great pyramids) "It's like a game of Jenga that got out of hand"

When walking into the Chinese marketplace "Ahh, now it smells like the real China. Sweet and Sour."

I definitely agree. I think they're going to have a difficult time selling the idea to Karl though

For anyone who has not had the pleasure of seeing this fantastic new program I suggest you promptly start making the time for it. What a fresh new aspect to programming especially coming from one of our favorite learning channels. We all enjoy seeing the wonders of the world, but how often do we get to experience this type of education with such a hilarious undertone. I recently upgraded to HD through Dish Network due to their unbelievable amount of HD programming with such a reasonable cost. For most, it appears they can qualify for the programming to be free, who can complain. I have a preference for shows that give me an education and enlighten my mind as I'm taking in glorious scenery and fantastic computer generated imagery. So obviously I am watching the Science channel on a rather frequent basis, when I saw the commercials for An Idiot Abroad and knew that Ricky was involved I was excited. Anyone who has seen anything from this guy knows he is hysterical and has that wonderful unique sense of humor. His projects are not that different from what I consider his genre and he never fails to have me rolling, adding his "practical joke" to the mix with Karl as the bait has surpassed my expectations. Honestly, the whole show is filled with hysterical quotes and I don't think I could choose just one. I've also been informed recently that I will be traveling more for work through Dish Network so I'm honestly relying on my hubby to take care of recording any episodes I miss. I'm really excited to see what they do next season, I'm sure it won't be disappointing.

While in Japan venting his frustration over having to eat a fish that's been fermenting for three years...

"It's a lovely box. I'm not moaning about the delivery. The tray is lovely, the nice little slick bowls it comes with, beautiful. But that (the lid of the box), should be on there (the box containing the fish), nailed shut (simulates nailing the box shut), and buried!"

    absolutely hysterical!
