Episode Summary

EDIT

Is it possible that ancient astronauts might actually be time travelers from our very own future? Is time travel more than just a theoretical possibility? And if so, what might human beings from the distant future look like?

I have long believed this is true. The images of ancient hyrogliphics are too specific to be anything but true. I also believe in "ghosts" or entities, because I have had experiences with them and also orbs. There is only 2 things that are in our universes, energy and dimension. Everything else is man made to create order from chaos. I also believe that scientists will never achieve the Singularity, because there was no physics as we know it today. There is alot more in physics to be discovered that we cannot explain today, but in the future anything is possible. That is how the Egyptians could build their pyramids, and how they had "electricity". Who are we to think we are the only intelligent life in all the universes? That has always sounded egotistical to me. If we have geniuses in our own time, who is to say there weren't any in the past?

I also believe in bigfoot, even though we don't have alot of proof of it. Everybody thought the Seliocamp (sp) fish was extinct over 50 thousand years ago, and we all know now that it wasn't.

I also believe that aliens "seed" humans with their DNA. This to me is not a bad thing, since I think the "ancient aliens" are time travelers from our own future. My thoughts on that are they are trying to give us intelligence without going our of our boundries of we won't be frightened by them.

I have also had an "out of body" experience after a car accident in which I got my head slamed into a tree. It was like I was floating over the scene, I could see everyone around us running to the truck, taking us out of it, saying "this one's dead" and then all of a sudden I was back in my body. I don't think I was dead long enough to experience the bright light everyone talks about, but I distinctly remember the floating feeling and looking down on the crash.

I also have "premonition" dreams, mostly about death. I have a dream, sometimes very person specific and then it happens. The first experience with this was my father. I had a dream he was going to die, and 2 weeks later he did. Since then I have had many, many dreams about people and death. Sometimes it's just a dream of death or doom with no specific person in it. But then in days, weeks, or months later, someone I am close to dies. I had a dream once that my oldest sons father was laid out in a coffin, in a tux with a red carnation on the lapel of his suit. The next week his mother died. So it's about association too. I have never met anyone else with this "gift" that I call a curse, and it makes me feel like a freak of somekind.

Sometimes I am watching Science channel or History channel (2 of my favorites), and they say something and I'm surprised they just figured that out. I don't know how I know these things, I'm not that educated, I only have a GED, but these things just make sense to me and somehow I knew what they said already.

I could go on, but I think this is enough to explain what I think about these things I can't explain, but I would be very interested to know someone elses opinion on what I have said here. If I could get an email back from someone, that would just be fabulious.

    Thank You for listening.

  • Giorgio Tsoukalos, adds a silly spin to the show

    6.5
    It is such a shame...

Giorgio Tsoukalos is putting a rather silly spin to the series. Where credible people address any given theory, he jumps in and forces the idea with his "Is it Aliens? THE ANSWER IS YES!". His answer to everything is "ALIENS? THE ANSWER IS YES!" or OF COURSE IT IS.

It takes you out of the "Let me think about this moment" and say, ugh... don't tell me what to think.

Also, even though he might be right on most things, it's how he presents it that throws you off.

Too bad though, the show is amazing and is delicious food for thought, but lately they are repeating them selves too many times.

I need something new... I was hoping the time traveler episode was going to be good, but it was a bit weak.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Also Appearing:

Ronald L. Mallett, PH.D. (Physicist, Univ. of Connecticut), Doc Barham (Advisor, The Monroe Institute), Sean-David Morton, PH.D. (Theologian/Radio Host: Strange Universe), Marshall Klarfeld (Author: Adam - The Missing Link), Nancy Red Star (Author: Star Ancestors), Seth Shostak (Senior Astronomer, SETI), Edgar Mitchell (NASA Astronaut/Apollo 14)

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Narrator: January 30th, 1933, Berlin, Germany - Adolph Hitler and his Nazi Party take power and Albert Einstein flees to the United States. Fearing Hitler's rise to power, he warns the U.S. and the world of terrible dangers posed to humanity - especially if Nazi's were to acquire advanced technology. But by revealing to the world his breakthrough theories, might Einstein have accidentally helped the Nazi's build a time machine?

    • Childress: Throughout the Buddhist world, Buddhists build what they call Stupas. They look very much like the Nazi "Bell".
Coppens: The Stupas, it is said that we can use this shape to somehow connect with the Gods. Now, when we put the practice of Kalachakra on this, what we are talking about is somehow a practice of transcending time.
Barham: The Kalachakra teaching gives individuals actual practices and techniques to be able to step outside of time and to be able to move in time. So, it's entirely possible that the Nazi's were looking for secrets on how to travel in time.

    • Narrator: What if interstellar distances were too great, even for advanced extraterrestrial beings? Or might their level of technical sophistication be beyond our wildest dreams?
Coppens: Simply because it is impossible to us doesn't mean it's impossible for everybody. And definitely when it comes to beings out there who are able to transcend this boundary of time, it is clear that they are not subject to time in the way we are subject to it.

    • Henry: Einstein's Theory of Relativity allowed for something called the Einstein-Rosen Bridge, which is what we today call a wormhole. It opened up the possibility that we can travel from point A on Earth to point B somewhere else in the universe as if there were nothing in-between.

    • Narrator: Ever since the infamous UFO incident of 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico, there have been thousands of reports of extraterrestrial sightings - and even first-hand accounts of alien abductions. Described as humanoids with large heads and small bodies, researchers believe these beings might, in fact, be an alien species that some call "the greys".
Bara: These "aliens" look not too dissimilar from us. They have heads, they have hands, they have two arms, two legs, two eyes, a nose, a rudimentary mouth ... They certainly, in their descriptions, appear to be pretty close to us - or, what they kinda look like, is very, very early science fiction concepts of how the human race would eventually evolve over the eons.
Barham: If you look at the extraterrestrials that are described (as) "the greys", that are related to the Roswell incident, you'll see that their forms in many ways resemble what we might project or predict that we could look like in the future - if we became a space-faring race.

    • Howe: What we do know is that the physics of our planet - quantum physics and string theory - have moved the ball so much further than it was in the last century, to saying there are no mathematical restrictions on time travel to the future or to the past. And that, once you know that the physics community is saying there are no restrictions, it's just us finding out how do we do this.
Childress: Time travel is basically the same as teleportation. We could go from place to place on Earth in a matter of milliseconds. This would revolutionize all kinds of travel. At the same time, our connections between us and any other civilization - and including, civilizations on other planets, as well.
Narrator: But just who really are these other-worldly creatures called "the greys"? Is it possible they came to Earth not from outer space, but from the future - or the past? Or might they actually be ... human time travelers?

    • Von Daniken: I rather am a believer in time travel. I say nothing will be impossible for us in the future. Even if you think it's completely crazy, it will happen. Whatever humans are able to think, to calculate, even to fantasize - will, one day, become reality.
